Yosuke isn't an artist.

At all.

Like he actually sucks a whole lot. Which is why this is such a horribly cruel request to make of him. But it's also why once he was done with work for the around noon, Yosuke left Freshens and headed out to the park. With a little plastic bag. Inside? Some sort of sketch book and some ugly child-quality watercolor paints.

Which is Yosuke getting frustrated and balling up like the 5th page. He throws it towards a recycling bin and it bounces off. ]

Ugh, I can't do this!

[Eleanor wasn't entirely sure why she agreed to this. Well, no, she knew why, but that wasn't making sitting there watching Yosuke be frustrated any fun, of course.]

Yes you can!

[She chimed in, leaning over to pick up the piece of paper and uncrumple it.]

It doesn't have to be perfect or anything, Yosuke. Stop throwing them away before you finish.

[ He's glad that Eleanor is such a good sport about all of this, because he's not really feeling like being one. ]

But it doesn't even look like you! How is that supposed to count?

[ He's not mad at you, Eleanor, even if you're the one he's grumping at. ]

I don't think they are worried about how good you are or how successful it is. I mean, I walked into a shop and asked for magic beans and they said they didn't have them and that counted so...

[As she talked, Eleanor finished uncrumpling the paper and looked at the picture of herself. Well. It certainly wasn't good but...]

It's really not that bad.

Did that really..? Wait, magic beans? What the hell?

[ This whole bingo thing is absolutely ridiculous. Someone has got to be having a good laugh!

Still, he cringes when she looks at the paper. ]

It's okay, you can say it...a five year-old could do a better job.

[She looks at the drawing again, then hands it back to him.]

Do you actually care if it's good? It's just a drawing.

What is wrong with these guys...

[ That's really the question of the hour, isn't it? Or is it just Jim? Yosuke isn't sure, but he does want someone to blame. That would make him feel a lot better. ]

Well...

[ He sighs. ]

I know it's gonna sound stupid, but you're my friend and you've been there for me a lot, so...yeah, I guess I wanna try to make you not look like some half-assed kindergartner drawing of a dystopian future.

[Eleanor smiled and shook her head.]

No, I understand. Just...I'm saying you don't need to worry about that. Unless it's a schematic I can't draw at all so whatever you come up with is going to be better than whatever I could ever manage.

[ He's...making a bigger deal of this than he needs to be, huh? Yosuke rubs the back of his neck. ]

Heh...okay, well. This will be the last one, okay? Whatever it is--however shitty it is--is what we'll go with. Is that cool with you?

[Eleanor grinned and leaned back again so he could work.]

[ He takes a moment--a long moment as he tries to sketch out something that doesn't just look, well...horrible. And he's not super lucky. But it looks like a girl, at least. Maybe not Eleanor, but a person. Not a monster.

Yosuke looks a little disappointed, sighing as he turns the painting around. ]

Well...it's not the worst.

[She takes it as he turns it around, looking it over.]

Well it's certainly better than anything I could do, at least. [Handing it back.]

And I'm sure it counts for the card.

[ He takes it and nods. It...it'll have to do. ]

I'm never gonna be an artist, but I kinda figured that.

[ Well, he takes out his phone and marks off one square. ]

At least that's one down. I really hope this bingo is even worth it.

That's the real question, isn't it? Why are we even doing this.

[She smiles ruefully.]

I mean, not that I can talk since I'm doing it too.

Because we're desperate for answers and we'll take them from anyone?

I've done...some of them. The less awkward ones, really. And I have a plan for the middle one but...

[Eleanor fishes out her phone, bringing up the card to look at it.]

[ He frowns, his nose scrunching his nose a bit. ]

How can they really expect us to do that? There's some pretty personal stuff...

Well...the strangers one yeah, but I guess...do you have the "Share a difficult Retrospec Memory"? Like, what are they even thinking?

[Eleanor scanned her card.]

Yeah, I do have that.

[Eleanor stared at the block for a bit, then looked up at him again.]
