[ Yukiko has a weird sense of humor. Yosuke learned this the hard way a few years ago. This, for better or for worse, makes her kind of the perfect person to help him mark off this incredibly ridiculous box on his bingo sheet. He knows the corners are important an increase his chances of getting multiple bingos (right?), so he's got to mark them off if he can.

Just...why these...

It's what brings them to a party supply store, just up the street from the famous Towers. He's been out shopping with Yukiko before, but this is...a little different.

Yosuke sighs, looking up at down the mask and hat display in front of them. ]

Look, just--they all look equally stupid to me. Just pick one out so I can get this over with!

[Well, yes, this is a little different. But standing there in the shop with cart blanche to pick out a ridiculous hat for Yosuke? Yukiko cannot help herself. She grins and starts into the shop, swinging her purse around happily until...well hello there you.

She immediately makes a bee-line for a hat and picks it up.]

This. This is perfect for you!

[Snort...]

[ He figured that Yukiko would be both the best and worst person for this job. And he's proven right in about five seconds. All the hats are arguably terrible, but this... ]

Well...it definitely fits the bill for "stupid"...

[ Pained. He looks pained! ]

Wait, why is it "perfect"?

Because it's a shark, silly.

[She hops up on tiptoes and settles it on his head.]

It's just the right size!

[This is Yukiko Logic. Are you going to argue?]

That doesn't make any sense!

He may never live this down. This is it. This the challenge that Yosuke finally gives up on. ]

[ But it fits the bill. Yosuke sighs dramatically because he needs the world to know that he's suffering. ]

Whatever...I just gotta get this over with! [ He starts to fish for his wallet. ] They should really be paying for this, not me...anyway, how long do you think I gotta wear this thing for it to count?

[She shrugs at him. Because look as funny as this is, she's not going to force him to do anything.]

But then you're giving up. It's not that expensive. And you have a gag gift for someone else later, if you don't want to keep it.

It's one of the corners! That means I have 3 ways to get bingo on it!

[ So she may be right but he has his #Reasons. ]

Look, how about when this is done you can keep it.

I need to buy a gift for Jim off his registry. Which means we need to go to the big department store. That's...to the right. So follow me?

[ Yosuke follows, sticking his hands into his pockets. While wearing his dumb hat. He gets a curious look as they leave the store but, oh, man, it's the few outside that make Yosuke remember the whole point of this thing.

Yeah, I was there a few days ago when I ran into Minako-senpai.

[Yukiko bobs her head as they round a corner towards the place.]

Shouldn't take long though. I looked his registry up online, and I think I know what I'm going to get him.

[ He makes a face and shakes his head, which consequently makes the fins of his shark flop around a bit. ]

He's just trying to get free stuff outta us and he's already making us miserable!

Well, you know, he does have power over us. And is presumably at least a part of sending those crazy items to everyone with the app.

Wait, do you think we're shopping for things he's going to send to other people?

[Entering the store, she heads right for the registry.]

[ Yosuke huffs through his nose, but follows after her, his arms crossed.

He hears snickers. He knows what they're about...

[She points to one of the odd and cheap things on the list. A car window sticker...of a sloth.]

[Why is it great you ask?]

Because he's so slow he only contacts us once or twice a month.

[ Yosuke blinks. Stares at the sticker.

...Do you think he'll get it?

I don't know, but he asked for it.

...I don't know. Because he's dumb? I really can't decide if it's all an act or if he's really this infuriating.
