Team Snow White roster: Davey Jacobs, Eleanor Lamb, Fang, Kasen Kanesada, Malik Ishtar, Mari Ohara, Riku, Ritsu Kageyama, Ryoji Mochizuki, Toushiro Hitsugaya, Yuri Plisetsky.

The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city.

However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of many bat wings...

This is the Team Snow White Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!

[Going after another of their teammates, the spirit possessing Dante doesn't notice Ritsu until it's too late. The leg of the chair strikes the back of his hand and instinctively he lets go, the lamp falling to the floor to sputter and seep.

Unfortunately, this means Ritsu's just made himself a target. With a silent snarl twisting his features up even more, Dante rushes him, trying to either tackle him to the floor or shove him into the wall.]

[ Successfully grounded by the possessed Dante, Ritsu pushes the weapon against his neck, trying to get his grip to let up.

He's an actual child, up against a teenager possessed by a ghost. He should probably count himself lucky Dante lost some of his strength while in Family Feud. Ritsu spits out his words, feeling his arms strain back. ]

Snap... out of it!

[ Fortunately, Ritsu does have exorcism as a skill under his belt. Unfortunately, he doesn't know that. ]

[Ritsu's probably going to want to try and figure that out sooner rather than later. The spirit isn't trying to fight the weapon pressed up against its host's neck; it's just going after the boy below it, reaching down and wrapping gloved hands around the child's neck and beginning to squeeze.]

[ Ritsu gasps out for air, his wavering strength causing him to drop the chair leg to the side, and switching his grip to Dante's hands.

He tugs, and pulls to no avail. There are kicks to Dante's abdomen, which aren't enough to get him to let up. He wasn't going to die like this. And he didn't want this to be Dante's fate either. ]

G... Nnnghhaahh...

[ A glow of blue shines that only he can see through the blurs of his slit eyes, and shoving his right hand over Dante--without touching him-- the spirit will either be dissipated entirely, or at least damaged enough to back off and give him a second to breathe again. ]

[It's an almost inhuman screech that comes from Dante's throat, the spirit arching backwards in agony... for a split second Dante is himself again, staring down at Ritsu uncomprehendingly, and then falling backwards to his ass, pushing away from him in horror as he realizes what's happened.]

Fuck! Ritsu--are you okay? I didn't hurt you or anything, did I?

[Unfortunately, that's the moment that the spirit possessing him is able to take control of him again. Dante's entire form twitches with the shift, and then he's back on his feet, looking around for a weapon he can come after Ritsu again with.]

[ Ritsu coughs and wheezes, picking himself back up on his feet again. He looks to his hand, what was that thing he just did? Whatever it was, he needs to do it again.

He runs towards Dante with the intention to shove at him, flickering blue. But it's so reckless a charge, he could easily be knocked back off his feet. ]

[Whoops, sorry Ritsu. If you think this spirit won't take advantage of that recklessness... it turns its shoulder toward him and rushes him, body-checking Ritsu to halt his charge.

There's broken glass on the floor, the broken chimney from the oil lamp he'd grabbed at the start. Dante grabs a piece of it up, jagged and sharp, coming at Ritsu once more.]

[ The difference in their body types isn't doing him any favors. All too soon, the familiar scene of the possessed Dante over him happens again, but now with Ritsu against the wall. His ears are ringing, he's surprised he's still conscious. He successfully dodges most of the first swipe of the glass, nicking his cheek into a red line. He's not so lucky with the next; his mouth opens but he chokes on air and it doesn't let him scream. The glass was now planted in his shoulder, blood seeping into his dark clothes. ]

[ He bites down on his lip so hard it bleeds. Ritsu's had enough of you, ghost. He sees flares of blue shine, and though his other hand trembles, his power courses through with the intention to eliminate this ghost completely. ]

[And this time, it works. He reels backwards as the ghost is forcibly ejected from his body, screaming out as it's dissolved into nothingness. His eyes clear and Dante gasps in a breath of air, taking in the scene before him--Ritsu, his injuries, his shoulder, the glass, the way his hand stings and the cuts across his fingers...

He's done this.

It happened again. Just like...]

Dammit!

[He takes a couple steps further away, running both hands through his hair.]

Ritsu--I'm sorry.

[Fuck, fuck, fuck, what does he even do to try and fix this...?! He glances around, then seems to make a decision.]

Come on, Freya can heal this!

[ Ritsu would utter out some reassurance he was. Well, not fine, but alive and that's what counted. But it was hard enough talking while his shoulder burned and his neck ached, for the moment he couldn't even feel his left arm.

His footing is off-balance and for a moment he seems to need to lean against something, but he's resolved not to fall with a nod. They were getting out of here, and he wasn't letting weakness show.

And what this power was, he needed to figure out its nature. ]
