TEAM SNOW WHITE LOG
READY: START Team Snow White roster: Davey Jacobs, Eleanor Lamb, Fang, Kasen Kanesada, Malik Ishtar, Mari Ohara, Riku, Ritsu Kageyama, Ryoji Mochizuki, Toushiro Hitsugaya, Yuri Plisetsky. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of many bat wings... This is the Team Snow White Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!
The schedule for Team Snow White is as follows: 3RD: Objective 1 posted (9PM EST) | Objective 1 Part TwoObjectives will be given in mod toplevels to this post with instructions; please check the log currently for Objective 1 to see how this will work. |

fearful for his own life, he digs his fingers into the fabric of the mattress. ]
Just start it already.

First question. Name somewhere you would hide a murder weapon if you didn't want to get caught.
[Above them, a countdown timer with 20 seconds on the clock looms on the ceiling. Tick tock, gentlemen. Better think fast. There are seven top answers.]
no subject
In a river.
no subject
You bury it in the ground.
[ what the fuck is this game??? ]

The landfill?
no subject
In a fire. You burn it.
no subject
Luckily the rest of this rounds won't be like this, though as they don't know the narrator text they don't know this either.]
no subject
The ocean?
no subject
Dante's lips flatten out as he makes his decision, a shiver starting at the small of his back and forcing its way up his spine. There's only one thing for it, no matter how much he might be scared of what will happen later on.]
The closet.
no subject
A closet would be the most obvious and the ocean--where do you see an ocean? [He chuckles to himself and the boards wipe clear.]
You're running out of time, boys. How about a lightning round? Five questions, one answer each, one minute. Winner take all.
[And without waiting for an answer:]
Name somewhere you'd store your money besides the bank.
no subject
Wait, what do you mean, you're running out of time? What happens if we do?
[But before he's even finished talking, Ghost is moving on. Okay, think. Where would you store your money in a backwoods mansion? He's heard stories about people sewing it up inside mattresses, but... that or "a safe" are too obvious; they'll probably be the top answers, right?]
Bury it--buried treasure.
no subject
so all of that was for nothing.
okay. well, dante took his answer. so...toushiro thinks of something else and it takes him a moment to answer: ]
Inside of a small object.
no subject
Name a career where you're always working for someone younger than you.
[And without pause.] What are the top reasons relationships fall apart?
no subject
Librarian.
S-- ["--ex" would be the end of that answer, but Dante bites it off quickly, shaking his head. No, no, that's probably a good answer, honestly. Something else, a bad reason... normally he'd chalk "got ugly" under that category but there are too many people out there that consider that a valid reason...] Drives a bad car.
no subject
Teacher.
[ because you're working for kids right... anyway that second question. ]
Cheating?
no subject
In fact, there's a slide above them and two swinging twin blades begin to descend from the ceiling.]
Last question. A man and a wife and their two children inherited a house from his ancestors. This house has been in the man's family for generations and with the house came several features including a maid, a butler, and a nanny. One day the family discovers the children dead in their beds and the maid, the butler, and the nanny are the suspects.
Name three reasons why the husband and wife blamed each other instead.

That's a tough one.
[Dante watches the blades as he thinks, brow slightly furrowed in thought.
...wait.
Two children? Dead in their beds? His expression breaks in surprise and he glances up at Ghost. A butler...?
"Name a career where you're always working for someone younger than you."
No way.]
The maid, the butler, and the nanny were ghosts already. Three people, three reasons.
no subject
They were just as good as dead, anyway. But ah, yes, the lovely Spinnatos and their lovely twins, a family torn apart by greed and death do them part.
And speaking of part...[The blades suddenly stop, hovering just a bit before the one above Toushiro crashes down on him. While it looks like a real blade, it doesn't feel sharp and it doesn't draw blood. It's a shocking cold sensation for him as it disappears and Toushiro will find his spirit rising up. Looking at his limbs, he'll find himself a wispy, transparent figure who can easily escape the confines.
Dante, however, will find himself untied from the bed and the blades undone before ghost jets forward and passes right through him. The moment he reappears on the other side behind Dante's back, Dante's regained memories and abilities will be wiped right from his mind.]
Happy hauntings, and thank you for playing. Be sure to observe next time. [And with that Ghost grabs his noose and pulls, ascending up into the ceiling and disappearing into the night. Left behind will be a pair of wedding rings.
What now, boys?]
no subject
Stop it-!! No! Please!
[ there are actual tears streaking down his cheeks now as he fears for his life, and right before the blade saws into him he closes his eyes, bracing himself for the unbearable pain--and inevitable death.
but while death comes...the pain doesn't.
after a few moments, he daringly opens his eyes...and finds that he's, uh.
floating??? ]
W...What...?
no subject
[The moment the blade above Toushiro moves, Dante's shouting out, throwing himself with all his might at the restraints holding him to the headboard. He hadn't wanted to win--the shock at realizing what they were being asked and how it all tied together had caused him to speak without thinking, and now it's poor Toushiro that will pay the price. His heart goes out to the other boy as he notices the tears on his cheeks (who could blame him?), and even after the blade crashes down into him, Dante doesn't quit struggling--
And surges upward from the bed as the silk straps finally release him, almost falling off the bed in his haste to try and get to Toushiro. But before he can reach him, he's halted in his tracks by a gust of feeling as Ghost surges right through him, an altogether unpleasant feeling that sends a shiver up his spine... but that's it. A dramatic ghosty thing to do, maybe? Dante watches him disappear, bemused, but as soon as he's gone his attention goes back to Toushiro.
Or rather, Toushiro's body. True, there's no blade any more, and it doesn't look as though there are any wounds that have opened up... but there's a certainty within him that Toushiro's dead, just as sure as he knows they've learned what happened in this house years and years ago, and it's only reinforced by seeing the boy's ghost float up and out of his body.]
Toushiro!
I--I'm so sorry. [His expression is stricken, plain and open.] I didn't mean to; I was trying to throw the game so you'd be okay, but... when I realized what had happened. The answer just slipped out.
Are you... okay? It didn't hurt, did it?
[He sincerely hopes it didn't hurt. Unfortunately, that's the least he can hope for at a moment like this, isn't it?]
no subject
he's floating, still processing what's going on, and watches as ghost flies through dante with wide eyes--no, is he gone, too?--but...no. dante's still...there. toushiro looks down at him, confused and obviously somewhat frantic, and then he looks at his hands. ]
...Did I...
[ die?
but then dante's apologizing, and toushiro realizes what he'd tried to do, and suddenly he's feeling guilty. dante...was trying to throw the game? was he actually trying to sacrifice his life-- ]
...You... [ you idiot. ] Why would you do that? Why would you try to sacrifice your life for someone you've just met?
...And no. I didn't feel a thing.
no subject
[Simple as that.
Even if he'd be scared beyond belief when death actually came, he'd still sacrifice himself for others' sakes.]
no subject
toushiro just looks at him incredulously, eyes wide. ]
You--you're...
[ god. he just feels...so...guilty. ]
...I'm sorry. I...I gave them good answers. I didn't even think about...
