TEAM SNOW WHITE LOG
READY: START Team Snow White roster: Davey Jacobs, Eleanor Lamb, Fang, Kasen Kanesada, Malik Ishtar, Mari Ohara, Riku, Ritsu Kageyama, Ryoji Mochizuki, Toushiro Hitsugaya, Yuri Plisetsky. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of many bat wings... This is the Team Snow White Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!
The schedule for Team Snow White is as follows: 3RD: Objective 1 posted (9PM EST) | Objective 1 Part TwoObjectives will be given in mod toplevels to this post with instructions; please check the log currently for Objective 1 to see how this will work. |

[ Freya has to tell him because RYOJI CAN'T BREATHE. Yeah, they're fine.
He sounds excited about the prospect of their area changing, though, and quickens his pace, the butterfly too sensing his excitement and letting its balls of light grow a little. ]

[She regardless turns her head and takes a deep breath.]
...Kind of. Fresher than down here. It smells... musty—the kind that plants get, I think. Humid.
no subject
If it's plants, we must be getting close to the surface! Sunlight would have to reach down here for any to grow!
[ He looks to the ground, bending to swipe a hand over the surface of the stone. It feels pretty much the same, dry and cold, but he'll do that every few feet they go, trying to feel for moss or anything living down here. ]

Except she wouldn't, because Minako worries about him.][And Ryoji's hand does pass over some kind of vegetation, eventually; thin, wispy strands, hardly an inch tall, what you'd expect from this light-starved environment.]
[Freya frowns as it starts to grow warmer, and the plant-smell intensifies.]
This is too easy. There's no way we're this lucky.
no subject
Don't jinx it, Freya. If we're really this lucky, we should be thankful and not question it.
[ He says this, but he can't help but question the further they go, up and up with the walls on either side guide them— and then the open outward, and the air that Ryoji can't breathe, he feels, a warm, wet breeze, like the aftermath of a summer storm. ]

[She stops, suddenly, peering at the darkness ahead of them. Well... dark-ish-ness ahead of them. She could almost kind of see the shape of the tracks ahead, even though the butterfly's right with them. Then, she mutters under her breath, and suddenly takes off.] Christ.
[She races up the gentle incline, to find... broken track,
but an opening. On the other side of the broken tracks is a tunnel-like opening in another dark face of rock; by how dark it is, and how abruptly their tunnel ends, they're probably in a rock face, too. A large crevice? Deep down in some canyon,
somewhere?]

It's a dead end...? [ He looks up again. ] There's light on the other side. If we could get over there...
[ The butterfly floats on over, though, landing on the other side with slow flaps of its wings, filling in the gap with a path of light. Which is completely useless for walking across, please nobody walk across it. ]

[She steps up besides Ryoji with a scowl, fearless of the drop, and gestures flippantly to the other side.]
I can probably make the jump. You can... fly or whatever, yeah? The thing is, I don't know if I can make the jump with everyone else everyti—[Freya's gaze casually flicks downward as movement catches her eye, courtesy of the light cast by the butterfly.]
[When it finally registers, Freya's eyes widen and she grabs the back of Ryoji's shirt, throwing them both back into the tunnel.]

[ say anything else before he's being yanked back, losing his footing and sitting hard on the ground, but he'd seen what she saw— doesn't know what it is, but he saw movement, something large and white, moving- monster? something
probably not good. ]
...I can't turn into Thanatos, otherwise I could carry people, easily. [ He admits this in a whisper, as if his voice could carry all the way back down those tunnels behind them. ] But I can't fly, and I can't fight. I can't feel Thanatos here, just like what happened last month.
no subject
...Right. Whatever our options, they're lookin' to be a right mess as long as that thing's prowlin' around. Don't think I can take him alone—not right now, anyway.
no subject
[ Yeah... time to back away from that monster towards the safety of the caves— a thought Ryoji never thought he would entertain. ]
Let's go back. Someone might have a good idea of how to handle this situation.

[Her voice picks up a note of humor.] Shouldn't be hard.
no subject
Do keep him from doing something stupid, though!
