READY: START Team Tarzan roster: Anastasia, Ikuo Ryuuzaki, Jack Kelly, Kasen Ibaraki, Keigo Asano, Kurogane, Kurt Wagner, Silver, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Yaeger, Yosuke Hanamura, Yugi Mutou. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the monkeys howling... This is the Team Tarzan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! [This place is huge. He's not exactly sure how a jungle temple translates to a fantasy paradise, but it's a welcome change of pace.

He lets out Aoi- his Croconaw- first and checks him over to make sure he's in top form. ...And that his teeth are okay. The teeth are pretty damn important.]

[ silver might hear something from behind him... a comment muttered under breath... ]

...There's no way she's human, bein' excited like that....

[Silver turns around, having heard maybe half of that, generously, but he can pick up the context clues from his expression.]

What, aren't you excited to storm the castle?

[...It's difficult to tell whether or not he's being serious.]

[ maybe anyone else would have felt a bit embarrassed for having been overheard for making a remark like that, but keigo didn't seem any more deterred in his opinion for it. he just glanced over at silver, brow quirked slightly. ]

About as excited for it as I would be for a root canal, maybe.

Where's your sense of adventure? I doubt anything in here's gonna be rougher than toughing it out in the jungle.

[Or all the Indiana Jones traps. Or almost dying to a collapsing jungle temple. Really, it's completely understandable to be exhausted after all this adventuring, but admitting that isn't exactly morale boosting.]

I lost it somewhere in between almost gettin' crushed and fallin' down a hole.

[ what was that about morale? keigo wasn't the guy to look to for boosting it. ]

Though, I guess you're right. Nothin' can be worse than that.

[GASPS, A LITTLE MONSTER. Anya perks up a little bit when she goes to kneel beside him curiously.]

If it is not well, then it is bad, yes?

[As far as she's concerned, they lack other options. Still though, she gives a friendly wave to Croconaw friend.]
