READY: START Team Tarzan roster: Anastasia, Ikuo Ryuuzaki, Jack Kelly, Kasen Ibaraki, Keigo Asano, Kurogane, Kurt Wagner, Silver, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Yaeger, Yosuke Hanamura, Yugi Mutou. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the monkeys howling... This is the Team Tarzan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! just for clarification's sake; are we supposed to have a thread of two or three people for the blue and red paths while everyone else goes off path, or should we all be doing that together and splitting off for monster/off path exploration?

or is this up to us. I'm a little confused about this part of it and I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Hi Cam! You guys can split up however you want so long as at least two people are on the blue path and two are on red. If you want to split 6 and 6, you can do that, if you want 4 on blue, 2 on red, and everybody else going wherever that would also be fine!

So basically as long as you all start on either the blue or red path you can then split up however you want. Hopefully this makes sense!

Time for a super millennial question - does Anya's phone still work? There's probably no cell reception and no access from the network, from what I recall, but do the non-network features still operate as normal? So would she be able to take video of the surroundings including all the BLUE and GREEN?

Anya's phone will work for basic functions, so she can take video of the surroundings! However, like a normal phone, her battery will drain and eventually die and there will not be a further opportunity to charge it.

Hi! Kurogane got started a bit late to thread following the red orb, so I only have seven comments with him. Can I count comments in the aftermath/camp thread as well, or would I need to tag a few more times in the main thread?

Hello Heather! Unfortunately this combination of the main thread + an additional thread would not be eligible for the freebie as the requirement for participation 10 consecutive comments working toward each objective (so 30 comments for the three weeks). For this, the main thread would need to reach 10 comments from you. Hope this helps!

I have no other mod tags for the objective, but if you, Freya and Ash want to thread for a few more tags to completion that would be fine!

Oh, just a clarification question!

Does it need to be ten consecutive comments in one thread? For example, i may have some other team members willing to thread out a monster fight with me for the secondary objective, but would i need ten comments for that to count or can i simply add three from it to the main red team thread?

There appears to be a similar set-up to this though they will not be able to see where the hose is coming from. At least there's a decent-enough curtain.

Also, they get to keep the armor and weapons from WK 2 if they grabbed any, yes?

Yes! Anything you guys grabbed out of the armory is yours to keep.

If you want, yes! But they will disappear once they leave the entire castle area (i.e. 8/24)

HELLO TY I come with a question for Week 3. Will Room C be available to all characters as the last objective point? Or is that another room to explore?

Hey! Room C is your final objective point for everybody to all-out attack and thread. I'm writing up what's in room C now, what needs to be done, what will happen when it's done and how you guys are getting back to the city to post tonight at 9pm EST.

i feel like you knew this question was coming and yet

can anya try to make friends with the dragon? would trying to calm it down work at all or does it have to be fought in order to chill out?

she can try! she will not have a lot of luck until the collar is around its throat somehow though! after that she'll have better luck talking the dragon down

Will the enchanted items of the king be any use in fighting the dragon? ie is the team able to use them in any way?

Yes they can! The staff can be used for magic though they'll have to wave it around and figure it out. It can send out some stunning spells and a bit of elemental magic if they have that kind of luck. The book unfortunately won't be much help if they can't read it, but the sword and shield also work effectively and are fireproof.
