READY: START Team Tarzan roster: Anastasia, Ikuo Ryuuzaki, Jack Kelly, Kasen Ibaraki, Keigo Asano, Kurogane, Kurt Wagner, Silver, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Yaeger, Yosuke Hanamura, Yugi Mutou. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the monkeys howling... This is the Team Tarzan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Heh, let's just say I know my way around a joystick! [He says with a smirk.] Puzzles are cool and all, but video games take the cake!

[As they talk, it seems like they're approaching something...]

That's true! I enjoy the older ones, but I'm looking into making a board game...but have some aspects of a video game.

[ Yugi seems a lot more talkative now that he was talking about one of his interested. ]

[digthefuzz]

Whoa, for real? Now that sounds super rad! How will that work? [His attention has been seized!]

[gandora]

Oh, its kind of like a strategy game, but using holograms, it would be like a video game. I've...been working on it for awhile, so I don't have all the details.

[digthefuzz]

Whoa... Well that sounds sweet already! Whenever it's done, I'm giving it a try for sure! ...We just have to find out way outta here first.

[gandora]

Oh, thank you! I'd like to present it at a competition in Germany! That's why I'm stud--

[ Yugi stopped in his tracks as they made it to the stable. Were those....Unicorns? ]

[digthefuzz]

[He was preparing to mention that he actually is German, but then he's instantly distracted and awestruck by the sight.]

Whoa!! Are- are those for real?! [He may have seen a lot of unbelievable creatures lately, but unicorns are their own level.]

[gandora]

I....yes? [ Yugi couldn't believe this. How much more ridiculousness was this going to take?! Rubbing he neck, he stared at the Unicorns. This was the only way to make sure Adam was okay...

Promptly, he walked over to it and attempted to climb up on it to ride it. ]

[digthefuzz]

[...This is happening. Yugi's getting on the unicorn's back.]

Is it safe?

[Even so, it does feel like the unicorn is practically beckoning towards him. So he steps forward and tries to climb up onto the other unicorn's back. He'd had horseriding lessons in the past, so he doesn't have much trouble getting on. And he'll look towards Yugi to see if he got on alright!]

[gandora]

[ Being short had it's drawbacks, and this was one of them. Frowning, he immediately jumped on and scrambled up to the best of his abilities before turning to Kurt. ]

Even if it isn't, we've got to try.

[ It seems like the unicorns have the same idea. ]

[digthefuzz]

Right. [He nods with resolution.]

If these unicorns want to help, then I don't wanna stand in their way!

[And he unicorns don't seem to be wasting much time. Kurt's unicorn quickly begins moving, and Kurt braces himself.]

Whoa! Hold onto your horses, man!

[gandora]

[ Yugi does the same, trying to keep his grip but also trying to look around at his surroundings. This was a little bit nerve wracking at first... but then he noticed they were not just going forwards, but upwards....]

We're flying!! [ Yugi's eyes were wide with wonder; it was so amazing, despite the fact that it's weird...]

[digthefuzz]

[It's incredible! And kind of scary. But even with the fear, Kurt can't help but laugh and look towards Yugi.]

We are!! This... this is the coolest!!

[Up and up, higher into the clouds they go!]

[gandora]

[ Once in the clouds, Yugi looked around. What a great site! He was going to have to tell Grandpa all about this when everything returned to normal...though he wasn't sure how much the other would believe.

Naturally, there were rings, and yugi knew what to do. ]

It looks like this really is a video game! I think we have to guide them to go through the rings!

[digthefuzz]

[Kurt's thinking the same thing, and he nods.]

Yo, I think we do. This is like video games 101!

[A beat.]

This isn't exactly the type of minigame I'd pick to play in real life, but I guess beggars can't be choosers!

[Then he focuses on his unicorn and starts to guide the steed carefully through the ring closest to him!]

[gandora]

[ Yugi smiled and tried to guide his unicorn into the rings, once doing so, he realized that he had the ring on his arm that they were holding onto. That's weird, plus what was with the green fire? ]

I agree, not exactly the one I would want, but! It's fun!

[ It seemed to Yugi that it was going on forever by the time they got to the tenth ring. ]

Could do with an ending about now though!

[digthefuzz]

I know, right! It's not exactly the most entertaining minigame... [He says as he goes through his tenth ring around the same time.

But he does notice the green flames and hears something like leathery wings.]

...What was that?

[gandora]

[ Yugi frowned. ]

Don't know, but we should keep going!

[digthefuzz]

You don't have to tell me twice!

[He stroke his unicorn's neck.]

Come on, Lucky, you can do it!

[Onward he goes! A few more rings cleared...]

[gandora]

[ Yugi made sure to count them, and when they got to twenty, they seemed to be at their destination....in the clouds? He stayed on his Unicorn as he looked around, trying to make sure there wasn't anything unsafe about the situation. ]

Doesn't look dangerous, think you can teleport over there to see if theres something for us to pick up?

[digthefuzz]

[As they land, he glances around and nods.]

Um... sure! I'll check it out.

[He teleports over to the abandoned farm, and moments later, he bamfs back lugging what looks like a large leather collar.]

This is all I could find!

[gandora]

[ Yugi stares at it for a moment before he smiles. ]

I think that may be the item we are looking for. Your teleportation saved us from getting into any trouble, if there was any!!

[digthefuzz]

Thanks! I guess it can be pretty handy...

[And he looks at all of the shrunken rings around them too.]

Should we grab those things too?

[gandora]

I mean, they look kind of weird, but we can take those too. After all, it wouldn't hurt!

[ Yugi hopped down and grabbed the rings. ]

[digthefuzz]

True! They look weird, but not dangerous. And we never know what might be the treasure we need!

[He glances around.]

I think that's all she wrote! Should we try to head back?

[Kurt pets the unicorn's head to keep its good favor.]
