READY: START Team Tarzan roster: Anastasia, Ikuo Ryuuzaki, Jack Kelly, Kasen Ibaraki, Keigo Asano, Kurogane, Kurt Wagner, Silver, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Yaeger, Yosuke Hanamura, Yugi Mutou. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the monkeys howling... This is the Team Tarzan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Thankfully Tatsuo is actually being a useful member of this group, unlike Yamato who's just hovering and making distressed faces. It's only once Tatsuo's thrown the other end to her that he steps up, holding out his free hand.]
Here, I'll take it. One of us needs to keep scouting ahead. There might be a better path nearby. [He's mostly offering because he doesn't want to get his sword wet, but keeping the two maniacs anchored together is a nice bonus.]

Tatsuo has a good idea, but it will only work if Anya's caught the vine. Seeing the vine flying straight toward her, one of the monkeys howls indignantly and bounces to Anya's rock, slipping and crashing right into her leg to knock her off-balance.
How about those ballerina skills now, Anya?]

There's no helping that - though Anya is very worried about this bouncywild?! There's a surprised little yelp and even as she's knocked off balance she'll try to help the monkey to stay on the rock - except she might not let go in time before she's thrown into the river.

[Tatsuo makes sure Yasusada has a good grip on the vine, rips the radio off his back to drop on the ground (PLS DON'T STEAL MONKEYS), then snatches up the other end that had fallen into the river. Hopefully, it will be long enough.]

[And Tatsuo jumps into the river after Anya.]

[NO ONE IS EVER ALLOWED TO CALL HIM RECKLESS AGAIN.
Thankfully Yasusada's got cheating sword strength on his side, so as long as the vine holds... and is long enough... and isn't chopped to bits by monkey maniacs or something?? They probably won't drown.
Yasusada makes sure to nudge the radio close by with his foot, too, standing guard over it because IF THEY KEEP ANYTHING THEY'RE GONNA KEEP THIS FUCKING RADIO]

...save for the gust of the wind and a childish giggle in the breeze. The vine tugs sharping with the pull of the river and with the breeze helping, Yasusada tips right into the river, too. The radio floats along beside him and the remaining Bouncywilds shriek as they watch the trio rapidly head downstream.
The current's too strong to fight and the edge of the waterfall approaches too fast.
One by one they fly straight down in a drop....
...straight into what appears to be a bottomless pool of crystal clear water.]

[Yeah, that's basically all Tatsuo is screaming as he goes over the edge. Though he's smart enough to shut his mouth before he reaches the bottom.]

In her terrible list of priorities, she's also trying to make sure that the Bouncywild that got slammed into her doesn't meet an unfortunate fate either.
When she feels like gravity shifts right into the a drop, there's the feeling of falling even if she can't manage more than a startled gasp - and she just hopes that when she told her mother and Yato she loved them before all this nonsense started wasn't the last time.]

Unlike Anya "be nice to the murderous monkeys" Anyason, Yasusada's more concerned with... well, okay, first of all with not drowning or accidentally getting them tangled up in this vine as they plunge to what's probably their deaths, but also with desperately trying to grab the radio so that they don't lose it after all of this nonsense.
Not that it matters because they're probably ALL GOING TO DIE but it's the principle of the thing. Fuck you monkeys.]

LEVERGROUP, YAMS.But no okay. The radio comes along as Yasusada's able to grab it by the cord and it plops in the water, floating fast after them and down the water fall. As they all plunge into the bottomless pool, they'll find even falling from that height they remain uninjured albeit now soaking wet. The bouncywild clings to Anya and shivers, chattering unhappily at the amount of water around them.
Together, the trio will notice the water's much more calm here and easier to swim, and the light appears once more to circle overhead. Guiding the group to the shore, it will lead them down the river and to its final meeting place.
