(open) rough seas will be calm
WHO: Jaeger (eventually) and you!
WHERE: Dreamscapes.
WHEN: 8/25.
WHAT: Dreamdives!
WARNINGS: Suicidal implications, threads are warned accordingly.
[You find yourself on a grassy plain. It's nighttime, and while this whole thing is probably incredibly surreal, the scenery is at least peaceful. You can see a dark building ahead of you.
If you look behind you, you'll notice that there's a large, thick forest. Listening for a moment will tell you that there's plenty of wildlife there, and it doesn't sound happy to see you. It's probably not a good idea to head that direction. But hey, if you really want to, there's nothing stopping you.
If you choose to approach the building, you'll hear the distant sound of waves crashing, but otherwise all is silent. It would almost be serene, if not for the ominous look of the building. It appears to be a very large manor. There are plenty of lights on inside despite the late hour, which gives you a little more light to see the building itself. For some reason there are massive chains decorating the left side of the building that don't actually seem to be there for any specific purpose, and above that are flags for... some reason. The whole thing is kind of an experience, and the gloomy atmosphere and isolated nature of the house probably aren't doing much to make you feel at ease.
Since the manor is most likely where you're headed, you might want to get a bit closer to the front door to check it out. Be careful, though - you won't be able to get too close without two guards spotting you. They're dressed in yellow uniforms complete with masks that hide the upper halves of their faces. They don't exactly look friendly; one of them has a crossbow in hand and the other has some kind of large daggers that look like they're attached to the back of his hands.
You'll find that there's a solid wall around the perimeter of the manor; you can hide here for a moment if you'd like. Climbing over the wall seems to be out of the question given the height of it and the spikes on top.
How do you want to proceed?]

How do you want to proceed?]
no subject
...Yeah, go ahead on in. There are some other guards, so uh... maybe don't kill them?
[oh my god he tried.]
no subject
[At least, not unless they warrant it, he supposes.
All right. So. Inside we go, thanks to Crossbow Guy. What...precisely is he looking at here?]
no subject
There's a small alcove on your right with some stuff and there's a hallway on your left that seems to lead further back into the manor.
You're probably more focused on the weird blank space directly in front of you, though. It looks like something should be here - and if you look up, you'll notice that there's a second floor with a railing to prevent people from falling off that's missing a section. There are probably supposed to be stairs here? But there aren't any, so uh. That's. Fine, probably.]
no subject
...Also, because Wesker is unfair he could actually technically cheat the stairs? But no, no, he'll be good for now, if he can't find another way up he'll jump but for now...hm.
All right, let's go check the stuff off to the right, first and foremost.]
no subject
The stuff on the right appears to be... boxes? Well, mostly boxes. It looks like someone just didn't finish unpacking everything... There's also a pot over here with swords in it. As you do???
...Yeah, not much over here is all that interesting.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
Off we go down that hallway to the left, then, assuming that doing that did not magically result in stairs. What's here?]
no subject
The hallway to the left leads further back into the manor, where you can find four doors - two on the left side of the hallway, and two on the right.
There's also a guard here in the same yellow outfit as the two out front. He doesn't seem to be patrolling, though. He's leaning on the left wall between the two rooms there; he hasn't spotted you yet.]
no subject
So Wesker is pretty sure that there are two ways to do stealth in situations like this. One is to make sure no one sees you, and the other is to make sure there's no one around to see you.
Is it a terrible idea to knock out the guard, is what I'm asking.]
no subject
no subject
Anyway. He'll make sure this poor dude isn't dead and will probably be fine in a while (sorry bro) before going to check out those doors; let's try the first one on the right, first of all.]
no subject
The first door on the right leads into what looks like either a dining room or a conference room of some sort - the decor's the same as the rest of the manor, but there's a long table surrounded by chairs. Other than that, uh... there's a painting on the wall?
The table's got some interesting stuff on it, though! It looks like there are weapons and clothes, which do you want to look at first?]
no subject
Secondly...weaponry first.]
no subject
As for the weapons... there are a lot of them? There's an alarming amount of weapons here, actually. They're spread out on the table so you can see all of them, it's not like someone just dumped them all here or anything.
The different types of weapons on display are as follows: swords, greatswords, axes, battleaxes, knives, staves, chains, scarves...?, spears, bows, crossbows, and those knives the guard had. There's more than one of each type of weapon, so again, that's a lot of weapons. They all look brand new and each of them are different - unlike the (rather plain) sword you picked up, these are almost all unique and interesting.]
no subject
Otherwise, might as well check out the clothes?]
no subject
The clothes are actually very familiar - they're the uniforms Jaeger received not all that long ago from Retrospec. The yellow one in the center is what all the guards have been wearing here, but there's also the dark blue one on the left and the white one on the right.
...Strangely enough, they appear to be in your size.]
no subject
...
please tell him he isn't supposed to
oh god
please tell him he doesn't have to wear this shit]
no subject
did you really]
no subject
no subject
no subject
look is blue acceptable, he'll compromise for blue]
no subject
are you going to wear the stupid face mask thing with the red eyes too]
