READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! [She doesn't rush forward even as the ice wall starts to melt, but she considers Shouto for a moment.]

No escape without Dr. Halliday. Poor, poor Dr. Halliday. [She seems pretty sad about that, so that's a yes.]

... What do you mean? What can he do that no one else can?

[glaciers]

Do you remember the last place you saw him?

The green screen. [A flutter of wings.] Dr. Halliday's green screen was supposed to make it better. [She doesn't quite mention where, but a glance outside shows her line of vision is way across the chasms all the way in Lab 2.]

[goen]

[ ... Being trapped in here sounds sad so. ]

Well, uh... Once we find a way out, we can give you a shout?

[ They should probably not let loose crazy lab experiments just cuz, but. Whatever. ]

[glaciers]

[He glances out and... ah, there's the green screen.

There's a short pause as Shouto reevaluates Yato. If he wants to help then he can't be all bad... He sure did cut off somebody's hands and he's not willing to forgive him for that yet- but how long has this lady been stuck here? Can they get her out too?

Being experimented on like that, being stuck here forever...]

Do you want to leave?

[recollecters]

[Not quite what she meant, Shouto, but seeing how she's sort of in the room still and doesn't quite know what happened to Dr. Halliday in this huge lair, it's hard to say.]

Into the lab never to return. [She shakes her head. Being part-bird has apparently made her bird-brained, too.] The surgeon has more fixes, but needs more donations...

[ "Fixes", she says. Yato highly doubts it, but it doesn't sound like there's much use in trying to convince her otherwise. ]

... If you're sure. We'll probably be here for a while if you change your mind.

[ Figuring out all this science crap. Anyway!! He turns to check out room 2. Shouto is free to do what he wants. ]

[glaciers]

[There's a quiet look up at her before he turns and follows Yato to the next room.

If they need to explore this room again, maybe they can talk to the harpy instead of getting attacked.]

[ WELCOME TO ROOM 2. Word of Mod:

Wing 1, Room 2 contains what appears to be a lot of boxes and also a conveyer belt in the middle of the room. There are two holes in the wall that appears to be endless, and when they enter the room the conveyer belt will chime and begin to move. Moving from one hole to the other, they'll find...well, there's some wings, some fins, piles of fur, packages labeled things like "flank" and "foot", and these will all begin to speed up.

In a few of the piles as they go by are also little vials of orange liquid. They will need to collect all of the vials (10 in total) before they will have enough liquid for the orange chasm on the escape pod!

All of the body parts are weird and interesting but the orange liquid is the real gold here. Yato makes a beeline for the conveyor belt. ]

Hey! I think I saw an orange tube or something in there.

[ He SPEED WALKS along with the conveyer belt to start tossing unnecessary stuff off it in search of the vial. ]

[glaciers]

[He hates this entire place with his entire being. The sooner they get out of here the better.

Shouto is pretty sure he saw an orange vial in one of the other piles, so he'll just pick it off of the conveyer belt before it can escape him. He will keep doing this with the rest of the piles unless it becomes impossible.

Why are you like this Yato.]

We need an orange potion, right?

[goen]

[ Yato's natural state of being is Hot Mess. Efficiency is not in his blood... He shoves more body parts over and claims a vial!! ]

Yeah. I guess this must be it. This is a pretty tiny tube, though. Guess we should bring back a bunch.

[glaciers]

[On one hand, gross.

On the other... an actual hand.

This place is terrible.]

We'll have to search the body parts... for them.

[He'll pull out one vial from his current pile.]

That's two.

[ All these body parts remind Yato of how he first met Shouto in person... Good times.

Shove shove shove. Yato gives zero fucks about the mess he's making. If he pushes piles off the conveyor belt, at least he'll know for sure which ones haven't been searched. ]

So this is proof positive that this is where all the monsters are coming from, huh? But that lady knew English. So does that mean she used to be... y'know, full human?

[glaciers]

[Just how does Yato define good times?!]

Apparently, the doctor's been using people for parts...? I don't know if this is necessarily where the con monsters came from. There could be more than one of these labs.

... She said she went in because of nerve damage. I think Dr. Vanderweele experimented on her and now... now she looks like that.

Could be she was already some kind of bird lady to begin with. She didn't seem unhappy with being a bird lady, just being trapped here.

[ shove shove shove vial shove ]

Worst things to be than a bird, I guess. Flying's gotta be a nice perk.

[glaciers]

She also seemed out of it. Maybe she's been stuck like that for too long.

[He'll pick at the piles he's "rescued" and fight the urge to burn it all right now. The vials probably won't survive that.]

I'd rather not be a bird. Personally.

[ He shuffles over so that he can talk to Shouto better. ]

Yeah? Then what would you be?

[glaciers]

[Shouto's still preoccupied with the search for vials, so he misses Yato coming closer as he pulls another one out of a pile.]

I think Eijun said I was a cat.

I'm alright with that.

[goen]

[ eeeeee they're having a friend-type discussion!! with friend-type positioning!! ]

A cat, huh? Not bad. Cats are king around here. You'd get people feeding and taking pictures of you all the time. I wanna be a cat too!

[glaciers]

Food is nice.

[He's pretty fond of most cold foods, cold soba, in particular, is excellent.]

I'd rather not have pictures taken of me. It's annoying, especially when the flash is on.

[Spoken like somebody who has a lot of pictures taken of him.

He'll start picking at the next pile of fur.]

[ ... yeah what the fuck shouto ]

Aren't bright lights and pictures kind of your job?

[It sure is...]

At least movie sets don't have them set to flash.

If you don't like that kind of thing, why don't you go into theater or something?

Television and movies tend to pay better unless you're in Broadway. Also, it's steadier work if you can get hired as a reoccurring or main character.
