TEAM YZMA LOG
READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!
The schedule for Team Yzma is as follows: 3RD: Objective 1 posted (9PM EST) | Objective 1 part twoObjectives will be given in mod toplevels to this post with instructions; please check the log currently for Objective 1 to see how this will work. |

[ And Yato is content to fall into companionable silence since they should probably focus on finding these vials.
Doot doot doot doot DONE they find an assload. Yato carefully stuffs some down his kimono sleeves... ]
This is probably enough. Still wanna check out that last room?
no subject
Or if it gets him out of this awful place.]
We're already here. We might as well keep looking around.
Maybe there's a clue for the other doctor in the last room.

[ ... Yeah, okay. Either way off they go to the last door, room #1:
In room one, they're going to find an empty hospital/recovery room! It's similar to the room the harpy was in, except this one is much more stale and empty. It's clear that the room hasn't been cleaned or dusted in years, and they'll find papers dated back at least 50-something years ago. There's a vase of dead, dried flowers and rotten water on a bedside table and the sheets are stained with blood and other various stains. There are also rips/clawmarks in the bed that may or may not have come from our harpy friend. There's also a patient chart for a Ms. Abigail Hart, age 56, checked into the hospital around that same time period for nerve repair surgery.
It feels a little eerier here, what with the stuffiness and the horror vibe. Yato rests a hand on his sword as he pokes his head in and cautiously enters. He'll be heading over for a closer look at the damage to the bed. ]

[The moment they get into this room Shouto takes a step back. This is somehow worse than the place with the dozens of limbs. This feels like a place somebody's died. But don't hospitals always feel a little bit like that anyway...?
Shouto picks up the patient chart-]
Abigail Hart, 56. Checked in for nerve... repair... surgery...
[Oh no.]

Guess that answers my question.
[ He moves to snatch up some of the other papers lying around and meets back up with Shouto. ]
All of these are decades old. Has she really been here for that long? She's pretty spry for a centenarian.
no subject
Are you sure it's decades? Did you find something else with a time stamp on it?
... Maybe the surgery did something to her? More than what's visible, I mean.

[ He squints and shuffles through the papers. Then he squints over at the patient chart. ]
It says there that she checked in ages ago too. I wonder how long she's been alone.
no subject
[He looks at the patient chart a little longer before looking away.]
She attacked us when we approached.
It's probably been a long time since anybody's visited her.
no subject
Well, we should get this orange stuff back to everyone. Anything else before we go?
no subject
[He doesn't think Abigail can leave, she didn't attack until they tried to get into the room and then after that, she didn't follow.
It looks like they're done.]
I think we're done. Unless you want to take anything else from here.
no subject
Nope. Let's go.
no subject
He doesn't want to be picked up again, and this seems like the easiest way to get back.]
no subject
Cool! You're like a superhero!
no subject
So he doesn't stop him.]
My double was training to be a hero. I think.
no subject
I knew it! Did you have a superhero name like Element Lad or something?
no subject
[Icyhot or Element Lad.
Terrible.]
No. It's Shouto.

I don't think there are any secret identities. There are schools for heroes.
no subject
[ But the Y-Guys are mutants!! They aren't going to school to become heroes, they just want to control their powers. ]
What makes someone a hero if they can just go to school for it?
no subject
That's like asking what makes somebody a doctor if they can just go to school for it. [It seems to be a job? It seems fine to him, and he doesn't want to question alternate universes when somebody's walking around with a bird head.]
no subject
[ It makes sense. Maybe. Maybe heroes are powered people and superheroes are the heroes among heroes. ]
no subject
A hero is somebody who wants to be a hero and works to become worthy of that name. Somebody who has powers and uses them to hurt people isn't a hero.
