READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! [ Slimebuddy. ]

Kiki. [ The Klefki sort of... ducks away again, and Elizabeth reaches back to pull it back over her shoulder and hold out to Emil— once Kiki realizes there's no danger to be had, it'll jingle a soft greeting to him and float closer when it's let go. ] I'm not certain if it's a boy or a girl, so I've simply been referring to it as "it," but... perhaps that's rude?

Oh, I don't know. I thought she was a girl.

Maybe not.

Does she understand English?

[ slimey thing also wants to say hi ]

[ slimey thing can say... hi... Kiki'll hesitantly jingle at it too and sort of inch closer. Slimebud, what's hanging. ]

She seems to. [ ...she's now adopting a pronoun, thanks Emil. ] I haven't tried other languages on her yet however... though, I can't say that I know many others past something conversational.

[ She has high school grade German and French give her a break. ]

[ Ah, and this is where Emil can help. He just wants to know if she has some sort of... actual ability to understand. So he switches to Swedish: ]

She's cute, but are all these keys... part of her? Can you come here?

[ He asks, holding a hand out for Kiki. ]

[ Elizabeth's out of the loop, and it takes Kiki a moment before she floats over; her keyring splits apart at the bottom and the two parts wiggle like weird arms before she slips off a silver key into his hand. The keyring part of it goes back to normal once that's been done, and Kiki jingles the other key on her happily.

Emil doesn't feel like a bad person so clearly he can be trusted not to steal it or anything. (It's a house key. Elizabeth's house key, actually, identifiable by the E.V. emblazoned on it. The other key is also a house key technically speaking, but it goes to the apartment she shares with some friends instead of her distant uncle's house.) ]

[ He examines the key, and then holds it up ]

Can I slip it back on, or do you want to take it from me and do that yourself?

I think she understands Swedish too.

[ this is cute. This is a cute creature. ]

Not that it'll really help us, given she can't speak back... [ There goes transferring messages or something. Ah well—Elizabeth's giving her a fond pat anyway. ] Thank you for testing her out, Emil.

We'll probably need her to carry a few things before we get out of here. Are you up for the task, Kiki?

[ !!! The Klefki nods with its whole body, then twirls around happily. Elizabeth covers her mouth to stifle a giggle. ]

It seems like she's happy to be of use. [ More than happy—Kiki twirls again and slowly... stops... because she's getting dizzy. ] And it seems like you have a fan, too. You're not going to leave me for him, are you?

[ ............Kiki slowly shakes its body no, but it was after a moment of actually thinking about it?? ]

[ Oh no, that's cute... ]

Can't. You'll make Ike jealous.

[ Ike is not jealous. Ike is not even paying attention, and seems to want to see how Elizabeth's hair works. ]

Ah, ah Ike, you can't just touch people's hair without asking.

[ He pulls his slimy back ]

You know what's weird though... I got him about the same time I started being able to turn into milk. And.... it doesn't feel like anything from a memory...

[ Ah--that's. Fine. Thank you for saving her hair, jesus, she likes Ike but please...... no slimey stuff in her hair....... ]

It's the same for Kiki and my powers as well. In fact, I met someone who recognized her species after all hell broke loose. He couldn't tell me much more than her name though.

[ ...... ]

I wonder if that means all these little fellows may be from our collective hallucinomemories?

Ooh, do you think so? Maybe.

But.. I thought all of them were?

[ We're not from one big collective canon? ]

One and the same? Maybe. There's nothing like Kiki from what I recall though... [ She doesn't feel anything like that big monster did. ] Nor your little Ike.

Not even all the regional differences would be able to account for that, I believe.

Well, I don't know. I've been dreaming of some weird things lately.

What sort of weird things? If you don't mind saying so, that is. I'm aware not everyone's very comfortable sharing their visions.

[ He makes a face. ]

Some rather unsettling things, as well as some rather interesting things. [ Casual casual casual!! ] They're nothing truly important.

[ he said please. Elizabeth looks a little uncomfortable, but... She can keep it as vague as she'd like, and she can keep in mind that this is all happening to someone else!! Not her!! She is just sort of privy to this young woman's feelings and thoughts and things. ]

I've had a few where my other self is out with a young man on outings, and a few where I'm fighting. Ah, and she moonlighted as a nurse once.

Are you a good fighter?

I'm not certain. I summoned something to fight for me—it let loose an electrical beam or... laser or something from its maw.
