It seems like someone is manually picking and choosing from a list of every Retrospec user who didn't disappear into the void, and several names queue up. > initialize support team CONFIRMED. The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM ETHANOL as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Ethanol's access point is in the Recollé Graveyard. Team members will find the grave of "G. Mahoney" will move aside to reveal catacombs so long as they approach it in groups of two or more team members. Only Team Ethanol team members can see or enter the catacombs at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they travel further down the tunnels. This is the Team Ethanol Event Log. [May as well pick the one on the left, for no particular reason. Vera walks up to the door, giving it a quick kick to see if there are any traps before trying the knob.]

[And Yukiko will wait off to one side!]

[ no traps, just this little abode! what do they want to do? ]

Oh. This is actually... cozy.

[She steps inside, eyes immediately drawn to the bottles and scrolls on the table.]

More beds, too. Weird that so many people would be sleeping down here, and we haven't met any of them.

Yeah this is...nice.

[Yukiko will walk in after her, making a beeline for the table and opening said scrolls.]

[ the scrolls seem to be instructions on how to make a "potion of purity" and a "potion of impurity". the bottles all have esoteric labels, like eye of hawthorn and breath of tornado. there are only about half of the ingredients for either potion to be found. ]

[heiroglyphs]

"Potion of purity", huh? Wonder what it does.

[She looks over the labels of the bottles.]

Ugh, it's not even all here. Can't they make it easy for once?

Well. Let's search the other hut?

[Heading outside after one last sweep of this room, Yukiko starts towards the other door and opens it!]

[recollecters]

[ another not so scary cottage awaits them! ]

[heiroglyphs]

[Vera peeks in with the same amount of caution she showed the first house.]

Okay... lots of books, and more potion stuff.

[She turns and looks at the wall along the door, scoffing almost immediately.]

Is that a broomstick? Like an actual witch broomstick.

Maybe?

[Yukiko ignores the broom and starts for the table, checking the open books and what look like reagents for potions or something.]

Maybe the witch is out.

[recollecters]

[ the books seem to indicate how to combine two potions into a new potion! also, it looks like they can probably find the rest of the ingredients for the potions in the other cottage in this one. ]

[heiroglyphs]

Well, I'm not waiting around for her to come back.

[She'll just start grabbing whatever bottles she can reach, mostly meaning anything that's not on that high shelf.]

Well...

[Yukiko reads out the ingredient list and starts to poke around...]

I think it's time we practiced a little witchcraft of our own. Let's see if these potions can fix our unreality problem. Help me get everything going. I guess we will need a cauldron...

[ a cauldron can be found in their current cabin! they will have to set a fire themselves, but yukiko presumably has that covered? ]

[Yukiko breaks tag order just long enough to light a fire. It's not like she's not the Human Matchstick or something...]

[While Ms. Matchstick is lighting the fire, Vera will take the book over to the other house to gather whatever they need from over there.]

[Oh. Hey the beacon is lit, the cauldron calls for aid. Or reagents. So Yukiko will start organizing things and getting it all ready to toss into the pot. And...begin brewing!

Good thing she hasn't regained lethal cooking yet.]

I guess we need to start brewing.

Okay, so... there's two potions. Why don't you cook up the purity one while I get everything together for the impurity one.

[She'll just read the ingredients and...]

The fuck is "bottled laughter"?

[Good question. Though Yukiko is going to tune out a bit and go all Double Double, Toil and Trouble for the moment.]

Should be the bottle that got labeled as it. I don't know how that works though.

[ when opened, a rush of childish laughter will sound and some pink smoke will fall into the cauldron! ]

Okay, that might be the single creepiest thing I've ever seen.
