It seems like someone is manually picking and choosing from a list of every Retrospec user who didn't disappear into the void, and several names queue up. > initialize support team CONFIRMED. The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM ETHANOL as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Ethanol's access point is in the Recollé Graveyard. Team members will find the grave of "G. Mahoney" will move aside to reveal catacombs so long as they approach it in groups of two or more team members. Only Team Ethanol team members can see or enter the catacombs at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they travel further down the tunnels. This is the Team Ethanol Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! WEEK THREE OBJECTIVE

Team Ethanol's updated area map is HERE. 21, 22, and 23 are inaccessible due to the dragon. Descriptions and information for new rooms and locations will be handed out once you've sorted yourselves into teams.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Complete the "Weapons Protocol": each team member must enter at least one new room in the crypts and help resolve the unreality twist within in order to be granted a weapon! They will of course be doing this in groups.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Complete and submit 5 monster battle threads. Each of these threads must be done in different team-up combinations (i.e. the same pair may not submit 10 threads to pass the objective).

The primary objective is required to "win" objective one; completing the secondary objective is optional and may net higher rewards. Threads which progress towards either objective should be reported to this toplevel. Your primary objective cannot be completed solo, and will require you to work as a team! At least 9 of 12 team members must participate to pass. You must also solve the objective; be sure to communicate with your teammates and please let the moderators know when you need to investigate any given room or location; everything is currently locked unless the room has been previously cleared, and to open it you must alert the moderators in the appropriate top-level here!

ROOM EXPLORATION

They will find it can now open using the golden key that was found last week! Once inside they will find this room. The crystal, upon being approached, will ask "What have you lost?"

nui and kiryu are going to room 16! we'd like mod tags w/ this thread order: nui -> kiryu -> mods if possible, please! (no worries about getting to them right away; it's late and we know you have to set up a kajillion things first...and i need to get some requests in to make this weapons protocol thing fun, anyway)

anything i should know before setting up the toplevel?

They should use the silver key found last week to open the door, and it will look like this! The flowers will light a path on the water, heading towards the land; they will be standing on the water and find they can walk on it perfectly fine.

You may! The tags will probably be delayed for tomorrow when I'm doing less NPC briefings, but: they will walk into an area that looks like this and will have needed to use the copper key found last week in order to enter. I'll keep an eye out for the top level.
