The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM ETHANOL as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Ethanol's access point is in the Recollé Graveyard. Team members will find the grave of "G. Mahoney" will move aside to reveal catacombs so long as they approach it in groups of two or more team members. Only Team Ethanol team members can see or enter the catacombs at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they travel further down the tunnels. This is the Team Ethanol Event Log. [ At least this one is easy! Kiryu nods at the door, then answers: ]

Maybe the dragon wants to hear a riddle or something? We should try to keep its attention somehow.

[ the door does the solid-white-light-shimmer thing again and recedes into the ground.

the dragon looks no less annoyed, and the magical invisible door beyond the stone one is still there. ]

[ at least it is a very consistent dragon. ]

[Still a rude and stubborn dragon. This time though, Augustine decides to step forward to talk to it. But just in case, he lets Modeste (who was guarding both of them when they were answering riddles) try to stop Kiryu from disturbing it.]

[ Okay, Kiryu can totally compose himself now that he knows what to expect. It's a dragon. And it's awesome. But they probably do need to get in here. ]

[ fight, it means. and yet again the stone door slams up, because apparently offering to fight it inspired the dragon to try to defend itself by very politely closing his own door?

this time the riddle reads "what has one eye but cannot see?" ]

Looks like they could do more than convincing it to let them pass. However, they still need to pass through another riddle.]

"What has one eye but cannot see?" Any ideas about the answer?

[ They're all trick questions. Kiryu seems extra proud about this one, but then he also spent a lot of last month working on his cosplay with Majima. ]

Should we try to offer him anything? How are we gonna convince him to let us in?

also, the dragon is a girl, for the record, so maybe don't call her "him" or you'll get locked out again, kiryu. ]

[From the dragon's voice when she speaks again, Augustine got a pretty good idea that she is a girl. At least he knows how to treat her without offending the dragon.]

All we want is your permission to have access to your library. If there is a test that we should take other than those riddles, then we may accept them.

[ Wow, Kiryu is just batting 0 today, you'll never get her number this way, buddy. But hey, at least he knows how to yield to someone in charge. And maybe he'll watch his assumptions next time! ]

[ Kiryu nods. The dragon wants McDonalds? You know what? Okay. Big Macs are cheap, anyway. That's not a problem. They'll just have to... you know, leave. But someone is totally watching the entrance, right? ]

It might take us a while, since we'll have to go out and wait in the drive-thru. [ A pause. ] ...How much is "a lot?"

[ she has to think again. hmmm. ]

[Five hundred?! Yikes, even he doesn't have the budget to afford them all.]

however, the dragon is now waiting to be fed her 500 big macs. why did they agree to this deal. ]

[The good news is that the door still remains open. The bad news is regarding the deal they made as he whispers to Kiryu's ear so the dragon won't hear him.]

I hope you know what we're doing. To be honest, I feel I don't have enough budget to buy most of these Big Macs.

ANYWAY we're handwaving this but you can assume that several hours, a pony, a wheelbarrow, and about 10 different McDonalds trips later, they have obtained about... let's say 250 Big Macs, give or take. Without calling catering, that's pretty damn impressive. Please imagine a montage, because this totally calls for one.

Now it's also probably nighttime. But here is a giant mountain of Big Macs at the door, Dragon friend. (of course feel free to correct me if she would intervene before they achieve this monstrous feat.) ]
