y'know like nyah [open]
WHO: Souji, Honoka and you poor unfortunate soul
WHERE: Recollé Square
WHEN: 2/21, late afternoon
WHAT: Rescuing cats from trees. or something like that.
WARNINGS: probably none?!? will be edited if needed
[ It's a nice, ordinary day in Recollé Square, isn't it? The weather's passable. Birds are singing. Cats are meowing.
Hold up.
That's right, cats are... meowing? Or that's what it sounds like, anyway. The distinctive nyaaa of a mildly distressed cat seems to be coming from the branches of one of the trees dotted around the park. It's followed by another meow, which suggests the presence of another cat up there. Weird.
Surely you wouldn't have the heart to leave a feline in distress up a tree, would you? ]

Mm... Honoka-chan is a lot stronger than she seems. I would recommend not climbing trees with her or any rollercoasters that have a tendency to stay stuck at the top.
[ since those two share a common thing like height and being stuck, right? ]

[A beat.]
Why did she follow you up there?
no subject
Well... I got stuck up in the tree first so she came to try and rescue me.

[A pause.]
Has anyone ever told you that you're a strange guy?

[ Souji doesn't seem very insulted or bothered by that at all. It just rolls off him. ]
At the very least, I was only up there to save a cat?

[A sigh.]
Anyway, I should get going. I need to finish some homework. Do you need a ride home?

[ Like buy more jerky for more stray cats stuck up in trees... ]
But thank you again, Yukiko-san. I'll see you at school?

I'll see you later, Yu-kun.
[Lapsing into Japanese is easy enough, and she leaves after that, giving him a pretty warm, if amused, smile.]
