I don't think so? I'm sure it is probably harder here but there is a fairly large Japanese population so it might not be too difficult? Not that it matters, because I'm fine with a Western wedding too. You will look gorgeous in a western wedding gown.

Ahaha, that's true... that's why I wanted to learn a different language to begin with. Since just speaking to you in Japanese has a chance to be understood by the others around you.

That's true. At least with Cantonese, I only know two other people that speak it besides you and myself.

Speaking of which, you're taking AP Chinese, right? What made you choose that?

... Well, it's one of the more common languages. I thought it would help me if I did have to take over the company. Of course, it's Mandarin and not Cantonese, though. But learning about the culture along with the language is pretty nice.

[ Even if it was for her family's company reasons, he still can't deny that it made him happy that she chose AP Chinese out of all the things to learn. ]

That's good you are enjoying learning about the culture. Chinese culture and history is really interesting.

Japanese culture is really interesting too and while I was learning it, it was fascinating to learn about your country's history.

[ He's just.... going to give her a deadpan look. Yeah, no. He does not believe her words for a moment. ]

When you put it like that, there's no way I'm going to believe you.

[ Maybe it's because he's been around her so much but lately, he's been overly cautious of what she says because the last thing he wants is for her to turn his own words against him. ]

Well, I like the Sengoku period a lot when it comes to history. Learning about all the different warlords was one of my favorite parts of a Japanese history class I took.

But huh... Sengoku? Why did you like learning about the warlords, though...? Like is it kind of because you think they're cool? Now I'm kind of imagining you in some sort of armor-- ah, but I guess your past self would have worn armor, huh? Makes me wonder what it looks like, now. I mean, if I got that outfit from Retrospec, you could probably get something like that. Probably would make sense, too.

They are quite cool but not as cool as me.

[ He says while twirling a lose strand of hair with a smirk. In his mind; no one is as cool as he is. ]

No reason in particular, I just thought that learning about the warlords was really fun. I suppose that I've always been drawn to history and now with the new information on my past life, it makes sense.

[ Oh no... the mention of her outfit causes him to blush once again. Just when he thought he was able to block the mental image of her outfit out of his head... it comes right back to him. ]

Actually, I forgot to mention this to you because of how weird this month has been, but I did receive an outfit from Retrospec.

... huh. [She can't help but smile when he twirls that strand of hair around his finger; it's kind of cute, if you asked her.] And I guess so! I'd ask what your favorite part of Chinese history was too, but you kind of are Chinese history. [please delete your girlfriend] But you got an outfit? What kind of outfit was it? Is it nice? You didn't bring it with you, did you?

... [ He's just... going to glare at her and pinch her cheek real quick before he lets out an annoyed hmph. ] I didn't see a point in bringing the outfit since it would just get in the way. I did manage to take a picture of it on my phone and I could show you, but since you are being mean, I don't think you deserve to see it.

Ow ow ow... that huuuurts!!

[She frowns quite a bit, rubbing at the cheek that he pinched, even though it's a little bit overdramatic.]

You're the one being mean since you can't take a joke at all, geez. Even after I promised to wear the uniform the next time we're alone.

[ Said in a tone without any remorse or hesitation though to be fair, he's certain that she'e exaggerating the pain. If anything, he's rolling his eyes at her dramatics. ]

Your jokes are lame and I'm getting tired of you calling me old. If you apologize then I'll show you the picture I took.

I'm not going to apologize, because I wasn't even calling you old there. [If he took it that way, that's his own fault.]

[ While giving her one last glare, he lets out a long, frustrated sigh before moving away from her and laying back down on the air mattress. He's tired and cranky... ]

Then the next time you demand apology or something out of me because I said something you don't like, don't expect me to give it to you.

You-- [She can't even be bothered with this right now before she lets out a long suffering sigh of her on. Even though she's slightly annoyed, she still can't just leave things like this. But if he's on the bed now, she can at least keep him down there. She's doing a bed kabedon?? Or something like that. If anyone walks in on them it'll look like she's pinning him down.] That isn't what I meant, Leon. [Trying to push the irritation out of her voice, Mio tries to keep her tone even.] But since I hurt your feelings... I'm sorry. I'm sorry, okay?

[ In all honesty, he's not that annoyed at her joke. He's more irritated that he feels like he can't tease her without getting some sort of repercussions and has to do something for her to make up for it. Whereas he can't. Of course, his biggest pride is his flaw, which is why he's so bothered by it. So part of it is his fault, but he's far too stubborn to admit that.

He's not really feeling all that good in general for multiple reasons and is trying his best to push away his aggravation by sleeping since he hasn't had good rest for a while. So part of the reason why he's a bit more sensitive about this matter is because he's so tired.

As he was getting ready to close his eyes and succumb to sleep, he's startled awake when he's suddenly being pinned down and if it wasn't for Mio, he would be jolting up in surprise. ]

What are you... [ It's a little embarrassing since he's worried that Xiaolang might walk in and get the wrong idea but never the less, he lets it go and sighs. ] Geez. Now you know how I feel whenever I'm forced to make it up to you when I tease you.

[ Another sigh escapes from his lips as he wraps his arms around her, bringing her down close to him so he can cuddle with her, stroking his fingers through her hair. ]

Well whatever, what's done is done.

[She can't help but pout when he says those words, but she's not all that upset on her end, though. But then he pulls her in close to him, her cheeks flush even though she doesn't feel like she deserves it, even now.]

You're really warm, you know... but I'm just not used to being on the other end.

[That much is the truth, at least.]

Mm... so are you.

[ Holding her like this felt so nice and warm. So much that he felt as though he could melt into her touch and easily fall asleep like this. With his fingers still threading through her soft locks, he places a kiss on top of her head. Any sort of anger he had from earlier had disappeared and he's... ready to fall into a deep slumber. ]

That doesn't surprise me. Your face gets especially flustered when I tease you. It's cute.

[Totally and one hundred percent true, but it doesn't make it any better when she likes being this close to him. She likes just how warm it is, being close to him, and she doesn't mind or care if anybody drops in on them anymore.]

Geez... you're being really embarrassing. That's like saying you plan on teasing me more just to fluster me.

[ The same goes for him. He doesn't even care if someone walks in on them while they were in this position, he just wanted to snuggle with her for the rest of the evening and never let go. ]

What if I am? [ He says with a smirk. ] Besides, it's not like you have any room to talk. That's the reason why you make fun of me.

Ugh... you're not wrong, but that doesn't mean that you should call me out on it.

[But she's just going to cuddle with him, pouting.]

I still want to see that outfit you got, though.

I'm only telling it like it is, Mio.

[ But her pouting is really cute and it's a sight he's always glad to see. After giving her one last pat on the head, he shifts over in order to grab his cellphone out of his backpack and pull up the picture, bringing it over to where she can see. ]

I tried it on and it's actually quite comfortable.

[She can't help but blush when she sees the photo... it's actually a nice outfit, surprisingly enough.]

Can you... send that to me? The picture, I mean.

Huh?

[ Now it's his turn to blush when he hears her request. His cheeks turn a bright shade of red as he nervously swallows hard. ]

W-Well, I'm certainly not surprised that you want this picture. [ Actually, yes he is. ] But yeah, I'll send it to you.

[ With a few clicks of some buttons, he pulls up her number and sends her a copy of the picture through text. ]

When we get back home, I can wear it for you in person.
