[To be honest, she doesn't want to talk about it. She's kind of scared that even though things ended up on a good note that he might snap at her again. So she closes her eyes shut and takes a deep breath before she finally, finally speaks.] I... remembered something that had to do with Satoshi-kun.

[ Of course that's what it was. It's always Satoshi. If he had to be truthful, there's a part of him that doesn't want to know about it since he's so sick of even hearing that guy's name.

For a brief moment, he frowns and narrows his eyebrows. As frustrating as it was, he's trying his best not to snap at her again since he went off on her a few times today and he was already feeling bad about his earlier actions. But he still can't quite hide his irritation. ]

... I take it that's why you were calling his name out then?

[Unsurprisingly, Mio feels like she's tiptoeing over the subject; she doesn't like talking about it either, but given just how important he was in Shion's life, it's hard not to bring it up when she remembers something. Feeling like she's skating on thin ice as she speaks she can't help but gulp nervously before nodding.] Yeah. It was... a painful memory. It's okay, though. I'll- [Hesitation traces her voice and she shakes her head, because she can practically see the irritation in his eyes.] I'll be fine, so you don't have to hear the rest of it, Leon.

[ There are times where Leon might be an idiot, but today wasn't one of those days. Just from a simple glance, he already knew that she was trying to tip toe around the subject of Satoshi. It's super conflicting because while he doesn't like listening about him, he's also frustrated that she seems to be avoiding the subject with him. ]

Mio. Don't say that.

[ His voice is stern and firm, but he's doing his best to try and keep his cool and be as understanding as possible. As much as it hurts, he can't simply just wish Satoshi out of Mio's memories. At the end of the day, Mio's happiness is what's truly important and he needs to put his pride down in order to be a good boyfriend and give her the joys in life that she so desperately deserves. ]

[It takes her quite a bit to reel herself in and actually say anything, primarily because she's trying to be so careful not to hurt him. She doesn't want to harm him any more than she has to, and... she especially doesn't want a repeat of earlier, either.]

[Her voice sounds rather awkward and timid -- it's unlike her. Glancing away from him, she tugs at her arm a bit uncomfortably, chewing on her lower lip as if uncertain of what words she should say before taking in a deep breath in, and then exhaling.]

I... [Damn it. Feeling so fragile like this is uncomfortable. She hates it. When she finally manages to speak again, she can't even look at Leon straight in the eye, and for good reason.] Satoshi-kun, he yelled at Shion for something that she did to his younger sister. But what Shion said was that what she did... she did it because she thought that she was the right thing to do. Because she thought that his sister was clingy and that Satoshi-kun protected her too much.
