MAURICE!!!!! I NEED TO KILL YOU SO COME OUT HERE AND WE CAN TALK!!!
[ Like that's going to get whoever this poor Maurice guy to come out of the... mailbox. That's a mailbox Mafuyu is shouting her requests at, going from door to door and box to box, looking absolutely livid with newly silver hair and bright purple eyes like she came straight out of an anime that will never exist (please make an Oresama Teacher anime someday.....). It could be a wig and contacts, and I could swing a regain if somebody mistakes her hair for a wig and tries to tear it from her scalp (please and thank you), but it is unfortunately her real hair or she wouldn't be threatening murder in broad daylight this previously nice calm, Tuesday afternoon. ]
ii.a
[ But don't worry. Retrospec's got your back, Keepers of the Peace. The next mailbox Mafuyu yanks open, she's met with a face-full of letters and promptly shuts her up. Papercuts aren't even the worst of it; the contents are pretty painful to read too...
RNG one to pick up and read, or otherwise not at all- the latter might be safer because if it's one with her name on it, Mafuyu's going to punch you in the face and then take it back. ]
ii.b
[ Why does "Snow"s handwriting match the chicken scratch that is Mafuyu's... She doesn't really want to think about it. Mostly she just wants to burn the evidence, so if you're a relative stranger: ]
Hey, got a light on you?
[ Maybe let her know smoking is bad for her health. ]
ii.c
[ But if you're somewhat friends with her, classmates or whatever, maybe she'll spread these papers out before you and ask more seriously. ]
Read these and tell me: what is your first impression of this Mafuyu person?
[ wtf is this other Mafuyu's life that's also supposed to be her life, according to that whole mess of an info sharing meeting they had last month. ]
iii.
[ All things considered, purple eyes isn't the worst thing there is. Purple mean psychic right? And this month especially... ]
Hey! [ grabs your arm so there's no escape ] Think your credit card number at me, quick!

She doesn't meant to be nosy when she picks up one of the letters. It just seemed like whoever they belonged to might want them back.
But the name on the paper in her hands catches her attention.]
...Mafuyu?
[Ah, wasn't that the name of the girl who goes to Kaz's place...?]
no subject
[ She answers to her name immediately, still shaking papers out of her hair, scrambling to slap them away as she looks for who spoke. ]
no subject
[She's...not sure what to make of the letter. She wants to pretend she hadn't read it but her face is an open book and it has nothing written on it besides confusion and questions.]

Like a [uh] flash...light?
[An attempt was made.]
no subject
[ She flicks her thumb in miming a lighter, but that probably doesn't look like anything. ]
Who the heck carries a flashlight around with them anyways?
no subject
And then proceeds to fail to get the point.]
You asked. How am I supposed to know?

Why, so you can make off with it?
[ and, amazingly, his card number doesn't actually appear, despite that inevitably being on the mind... ]
No, thanks.

Come on, I just want to try something out. Social security works too.
no subject
[ pulling his arm away harder?! if he weren't so finicky about his arms being touched as of late then he might be impressed with this ]

Shut up! Your face is all funky!
no subject
Heheh! That must be where we're related, then!
[ After those words leave his lips, a thought bubble pops into life above him. ]
Do we really look related anymore?

I-I saw hearts, that's it.
[ How this happened when he's not sure this is Mafuyu's mailbox shall remain a mystery... or just. Retrospec bull. ]
no subject
Are you hitting on me? Unsee those hearts right now.
no subject
[ YANAGI THAT'S NOT GONNA HELP YOU.
But he opens the letter to her, with all of the little hearts doodled inside. ]
They also aren't my hearts. You might have another secret admirer.
[ Or maybe... they're her hearts? This is too weird to be standard postage. ]

Mafuyu! Stop bellowing at my mailbox, Jesus H. Christ!
no subject
[ She thought all the monsters had been eradicated last month, that all the buildings pulling themselves together and the ocean restoring itself meant that the monsters invasions were over. But apparently not, because there's a monster right there and Pen is too busy shouting at her to notice and so Mafuyu takes matters into her own hands, charging straight at Pen to shove her out of the way. ]
Watch out! I'll deal with this!
no subject
Calm the fuck down, Mafuyu! It's mine. Not a dangerous monster. Like a chihuahua, and that doesn't explain what the fuck you're doing with my mailbox!

Damn, the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree after all.
[ majima just shrugs ]
's not like me an' Kiryu-chan can judge. Ya know we're Yakuza, right?
[ they'd all been shirtless at the beach after all. she....got that...right.... ]
no subject
Sounds like you had a lot going on.
[ Yeah, I mean, if she was a delinquent... they're Yakuza. It's totally cool. ]
Majima's right, though. It's okay if you used to be a delinquent.
[ What's the deal with the Strawberry and Snow letters though, real talk. ]
no subject
"Mafuyu-san" is just so weird to hear. All these look like I'm a pretty sucky delinquent too! I got suspended! I was used as ransom!
