Intermezzo [Open]
WHO: Luke Triton and OPEN
WHERE: Throughout Recolle
WHEN: March!
WHAT: Ruffians, interviews, and other things.
WARNINGS: Reckless violin endangerment
News at 7;
[ Luke Triton had a tape recorder in his breast pocket, and a notepad and pen in hand as he wandered the city streets: a short British boy in shorts and a little blue cap. He had the air of someone trying to be as close to a professional journalist as possible. ]
Pardon me, do you have a spare moment? I'm looking for an interview subject.
Plucking great;
[ Luke was walking home carefully, looking both ways before entering the intersection. It was a bit of a bother to walk home, truth be told; the instrument case at his side made negotiating crowds a bit difficult. But at least he didn't play the bass.
Just then, a small crowd of boys ran by and jostled him; the case fell from his hands and onto the sidewalk with a sickening skidding noise. ]
Oh no, my violin!
[ Before he could get to it, however, one of the taller boys grabbed its handle and hoisted it over his head. ]
Give that back, you!
Wildcard;
(A placeholder for whatever and whenever!)

When he sees a young kid trying to get his violin case from the older kids while he's walking home from school, he decides to intervene without any second thoughts and glares at the older kids with a frown.]
Hey, leave this kid out of this and give his violin back!

Hey! I give you one last chance! Give that back and leave this kid alone!
no subject
[ Luke, deciding that this approach wasn't working, instead kicked the boy in the shins.
"Ow! You little shit...!" He dropped the violin, and in that brief moment, the instrument was sailing through the air. In a panic, Luke ran after it, hands outstretched. ]

[ Should he really be calling someone his own age "the boy"... well, the thought counts. Ritsu's glare is intense, but he's still smaller than the bullies that had gathered. He doesn't look intimidated, though. ]

Luke was hopping up at different angles, trying to swipe at his case, but so far not having much luck. ]
Why, you!

[ He's been holding onto his phone during this under the pretense of texting, but as the sound click just indicated, he's taken a photo of proof of their harassment. ] I don't think school administrations would like to keep students who heckle children for fun.
--Feel free to chase after me after surrendering the instrument, but I'm a pretty good runner.
[ If that still doesn't work, he's going to absolutely punch the boy holding it up in the face. ]

[She considered it for a second, and as she did, her mouth widened into a grin.]
Hee hee. This isn't just an excuse for you to strike up a conversation with a cute girl, is it?

I guess I've got some time. What do you want to know?

[ Luke looked down at his notes. ]
How would you describe yourself to someone who's never met you?
no subject
I... dunno. I think it would depend on who I was describing myself to.

[ He's willing to answer a few questions as long as it doesn't go into family stuff too often
because he feels bad about lying to children. It's not like he doesn't have time to spare, anyway. ]What kind of interview is it?
no subject
Well, how about I give you the first question so you've got an idea?
How did you find your way to your current job?
no subject
Oh, hm...
Well, I like to study languages, so I naturally sought out a place where I could do that more easily...I started off with translation, but I like teaching people too, so I ended up becoming a lecturer at the university.
Though I suppose it might be a little strange that someone whose second language is English ended up teaching it.
Is that enough information? [ He doesn't want to get this wrong, after all. ]

Plucking Great
He straightened to his full height (which really wasn't all that tall, but tall enough for this), and stalked over, crossing his arms.]
Hey... give the kid back his violin.
no subject
You give it back this minute! I need that for my rehearsal!
[ "Did you hear that?" asked the boy holding the instrument, swinging it away from Luke. "He has a rehearsal." ]
no subject
Yeah. He's got a rehearsal. And he's gonna need that instrument. I suggest you give it back to him.
[Duo looked like he meant business.]

Thank you, sir. If you could just return that...
no subject
[ He holds the case to the boy, and looks between the children. ]
You should say sorry.
[ He looks at the bigger children. ]
