Intermezzo [Open]
WHO: Luke Triton and OPEN
WHERE: Throughout Recolle
WHEN: March!
WHAT: Ruffians, interviews, and other things.
WARNINGS: Reckless violin endangerment
News at 7;
[ Luke Triton had a tape recorder in his breast pocket, and a notepad and pen in hand as he wandered the city streets: a short British boy in shorts and a little blue cap. He had the air of someone trying to be as close to a professional journalist as possible. ]
Pardon me, do you have a spare moment? I'm looking for an interview subject.
Plucking great;
[ Luke was walking home carefully, looking both ways before entering the intersection. It was a bit of a bother to walk home, truth be told; the instrument case at his side made negotiating crowds a bit difficult. But at least he didn't play the bass.
Just then, a small crowd of boys ran by and jostled him; the case fell from his hands and onto the sidewalk with a sickening skidding noise. ]
Oh no, my violin!
[ Before he could get to it, however, one of the taller boys grabbed its handle and hoisted it over his head. ]
Give that back, you!
Wildcard;
(A placeholder for whatever and whenever!)

[Even now, Anise didn't have much for close friends, but at least there were people she could talk and have fun with, and places she could go to meet other teens.]
no subject
[ Coming from a Londonite, no less. ]
It must have been tough without many children around. I grew up in a small town, and there were quite a few my age.
no subject
So you're from a small town, too, huh... Let me guess. England? [His accent sure seemed to point that way, anyway.]
no subject
[ So she was right! ]
My parents moved here to make a fresh start. Now I go to the secondary school here.
[ He looked back down at his paper for the next thing to ask. ]
Last question: Are there any funny stories that people tell about you that you'd be willing to share?
no subject
Funny stories? I don't know... [She stopped to think, then looked back to Luke.] Ah!! You aren't trying to expose my most embarrassing secrets, are you!?
no subject
[ How dare you impugn his honor, madame. ]
But what on earth could be that embarrassing?
no subject
I knew it! Under that innocent exterior, you've got a real naughty side, huh?
no subject
Is that all you can think about? Girls.
