Intermezzo [Open]
WHO: Luke Triton and OPEN
WHERE: Throughout Recolle
WHEN: March!
WHAT: Ruffians, interviews, and other things.
WARNINGS: Reckless violin endangerment
News at 7;
[ Luke Triton had a tape recorder in his breast pocket, and a notepad and pen in hand as he wandered the city streets: a short British boy in shorts and a little blue cap. He had the air of someone trying to be as close to a professional journalist as possible. ]
Pardon me, do you have a spare moment? I'm looking for an interview subject.
Plucking great;
[ Luke was walking home carefully, looking both ways before entering the intersection. It was a bit of a bother to walk home, truth be told; the instrument case at his side made negotiating crowds a bit difficult. But at least he didn't play the bass.
Just then, a small crowd of boys ran by and jostled him; the case fell from his hands and onto the sidewalk with a sickening skidding noise. ]
Oh no, my violin!
[ Before he could get to it, however, one of the taller boys grabbed its handle and hoisted it over his head. ]
Give that back, you!
Wildcard;
(A placeholder for whatever and whenever!)

[He then abandons the boys before he jumped on the larger boy's back, once again in an attempt to help the young kid escape from his bullies.]

So as he passed a gaggle of chocobos being used to pull tourist carriages, he shouted and waved at them. ]
Hyah! Yah!
[ The animals started in surprise, and stampeded down the street. ]

Sure, he wanted to help the kid out because he felt the same sympathy for him when he faces off against real bullies back in his elementary days, but this proves to be too much for him.
But before they can do anything to him, he heard some stampeding and when he turns around, he sees not only strange giant chickens heading his way but also the fact they are stampeding as well!]
W-What the heck?!

[ Luke called, in case the presence of the chocobos wasn't warning enough. One of the birds' minders started to shout at him, but Luke slipped down an alleyway as the crowd parted before the birds. ]

I think they're on the run.

[Once he managed to regain his composure, Tony then gives the kid a big grin.]
But still, I didn't meet someone who can stand up to bullies like that! Not to mention that you did it while I'm trying to defend you!

[ Luke was a musician, not a pugilist. Besides, he could hardly get in a fistfight with his violin in the mix. ]

[ As a twelve-year-old, Luke really didn't need any excuse to get puffed up about himself. ]
Thank you for helping, by the way!

By the way, I'm Tony! What's yours?
no subject
I'm not a little kid! I'm twelve years old! And my name's Luke. Luke Triton.
no subject
Sorry, it's cool! Besides, I'm also twelve years old.
no subject
I go to Recolle Middle.

I don't remember you from any of my classes, though. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

Maybe it's because of my busy schedule we might not able to see each other.

[Besides, he wanted to make normal kid friends, not to let them take advantage of his past fame.]

[ It was like reverse psychology or something. ]
no subject
Uh... I don't know.. It's not a big deal...
no subject
[ Maybe follow him around later, though. ]
At any rate, I reckon we could get out of this alley now.
no subject
Hold on. Let's check outside the alley first. They might try to find us after what we did to them.
no subject
[ It was only fair that they should share in this risk, since Tony was HOLDING OUT ON HIM. ]
no subject
If he sees nothing on his left, he sighs in relief that they're gone.]
Nothing on the left. You?
