TEAM PETER PAN LOG
READY: START. Team Peter Pan roster: Albert Wesker, Dark Bakura, Goro Akechi, Karkat Vantas, Lord Light, Naoto Shirogane, Nobunaga Oda, Remilia Scarlet, Ritsu Sakuma, Shin Asuka, Shou Suzuki, Yoshiko Tsushima. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the open sea... This is the Team Peter Pan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!
The schedule for Team Peter Pan is as follows: 3RD: Objective 1 posted (9PM EST)Objectives will be given in mod toplevels to this post with instructions; please check the log currently for Objective 1 to see how this will work. |

I felt it too obvious, though that would be my preferred way to go out here in terms of nonviolence. I hope there's food somewhere on this ship or we'll soon add starvation to that list.
no subject
[...]
But it is a cruise ship - it'd more or less be unheard of for it to not have absurd amounts of food involved somehow.

And if the PA system is still activated, perhaps it'll be unspoiled. Unless that goes under the same... circuitry as the engine? Electronics aren't my strong suit.
no subject
[He says, as though this explains everything.]
no subject
[So. They're on the same page as far as their lack of electronic knowledge is concerned. Hopefully the food is fine and... if it is not then the back-up generator they need to kick on will fix that shit.]
What drew you to a medicinal field? Did you want to help others?
no subject
[His bedside manner would be fucking awesome, clearly.]
no subject
Probably best that you weren't forced into that lane, then, seeing as your nature is more in line with actually doing what needs to be done rather than being the bearer of bad news.
[you wouldn't even make an "all right" joke about someone who lost their left side limbs would you]
I wouldn't make a very capable one either, though the money aspect is tempting. I never know what to say.
no subject
At least you know your limitations. A surprising number of people don't.
[...wow, wesker.]
no subject
It's best to learn them before making a misstep, in my opinion. People tend to think better of those who are aware of the things they can't do more than they do those who think they can. Particularly in a professional environment.

[..........anyway
There's a stairwell here, once we're done not-dying on the way through the fourth deck; it makes it a bit easier to hear that orchestra through the open area of the stairwell, sounds like it's coming from downstairs...
And apparently our orchestra has a sense of humor, but whatever.]
"All of them" indeed - do try not to break your neck on the way down.
no subject
Um, right. I hope its proximity isn't an illusion. Because of the echoing and the like. I wonder if they take requests... Oh, but we shouldn't think about that, should we? It might just be a radio. What kind of band practices on a sinking ship?
[... besides the one from titantic, wesker is not the man he wants to stand on the bow of the ship with. you are not his jack. even if there's a jack in your canon.]
no subject
[...it likely says something when my first thought upon seeing that is still "who the fuck is jack." in fairness, wesker does not know who the fuck jack is either, yet, so...]
no subject
i feel you.]
Or maybe they're seeking out survivors. Though... we haven't seen anyone else so far. [... It's strange. Cruise ships are supposed to be packed, aren't they?
The vision he gets says so, though he doesn't know why he's there himself (he hasn't been on a cruise ship in this life, anyway) nor who anyone could be. He pauses thoughtfully on a step, but quickly moves on.] Why are we the only ones here thus far? It seems a rather odd assortment to put on a ship.
no subject
Were you currently with any of the others, immediately before we woke up here?
[He was around several people during that five day period (Goro included), but he'd generally lost track of several of them (...Goro included) and had been with Jaeger at the time. But Jaeger certainly isn't here, to his knowledge, so...]
no subject
[... Is Miss Velveteen alright? What about Silver? Akira, Takamaki, Amagi -- the list rolls through his mind and he catches himself on the railing when his foot slips off a step, nervous laughter bubbling up.]
In fact, outside of you and a few others, I can't say I recognize anyone that was in the room we found ourselves in. What about you?
no subject
I recognize two or three of them from the network, assuming that I'm remembering their profile images correctly. I don't know the rest.
Before we were brought here, I was with... [how do you describe jaeger.] ...A...friend of mine, I suppose you would call him.
no subject
Perhaps they're in other parts of the ship, then. It is rather large.
[And there's a big ol' three on this landing; Goro tilts his head towards the hall out, listening, and nods.]
I think we've found our stop.
no subject
[Wesker will be having his gun out, at the very least; it's possible that there are people here, but he has no way of telling how those people will actually behave upon being interrupted once they're found.
Given that this is an orchestra we're talking about and the worst that will probably happen is "somebody throws a cello", this is probably slightly on the insane survivalist side, but he has had a very long week.
Come on, then - ]
Do you want me to lead off, or would you prefer to do it?
no subject
This is why he decide to investigate things with Wesker. Having a gun on his side is a comfort, though he's not sure if Wesker knows how to use one. Point and shoot shouldn't be that hard.]
Allow me. I've been told I'm quite apt at conversations, and I don't know how they may react to someone leading with a gun.
[Like, no offense, but. Yeah.
It won't be that hard to find it after that, the usual bit of "try not to fall through the holes" aside, and... the area is oddly clear where the music is the loudest. The floor is strong, the door seems undamaged, and Goro pauses a moment before opening the door slightly, peering in
and then very quietly shutting it again without a word. Huh. Wow. Maybe this is a weird dream.]
no subject
Goro's reaction is not promising.]
What is it?
[When he asks the question it's low; no need to get the attention of...whatever just happened in there.]
no subject
Oh, for god's sake, they're still there. This is real. For a degree of real. Here, see for yourself, Wesker, he can open the door some more without immediate notice...
by a whole lot of fucking skeletons, playing that sweet sweet music. Don't mind him, he's taking out his phone to record this. No one will believe him otherwise.]
There's an osteostra. [... Okay that was not his best, he can recognize that.] You don't suppose they might be friendly bones, do you?
no subject
Either they're some very cultured skeletons that are fond of Threepenny Opera or we're going to have a problem.
[...]
A problem beyond that sentence just leaving my mouth.
no subject
Do we attempt negotiations, leave, or... I don't know, skeletons aren't usually strong in video games, and I would sleep safer knowing that we've taken care of a potential problem.
no subject
...We are absolutely taking care of them.
no subject
There's a fair amount of them, so we should use our first attack to thin the numbers--
[The music abruptly comes to a halt with a clatter of bones, because it'd seem that second string viola over there has spotted their audience. It's dead quiet for a moment, Goro slowly stopping the recording as he chuckles nervously and his eyes flick around the room.
... There's a chandelier up there, and he jerks his head upward as the skeletons begin to make their way down with a rattle that's not unlike rocks in a can, jarring and vaguely threatening. Can Wesker's gun do something with that?]
