READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! [I'm glad that Seto's a helpful boy. But that aside, Bruce looks genuinely delighted and even lets go of the sub finally to spin in a happy circle, tentacles flaring out to the sides.]

Splendid! You really do have a grasp on the matter. I'd like to see the chest before I agree, however. Many people come into the garden to try and take what doesn't belong to them.

[Pen nods and holds up the chest. It's...basically a nice chest, with some natural barnacles and wear to it that come from being at the bottom of the sea. Probably a good aesthetic match for Bruce's garden.]

Thoughts, friend? It's got a natural vibe to it and all.

[He scuttles closer to get a better look, large eyes scanning the chest and the tip of a tentacle caressing one of the barnacles.]

Natural decoration! They'll do nicely amid the glow of my plants. I do believe this is acceptable! In exchange for you moving the plants, of course. [He holds up two of his arms.] Bit clumsy myself. You understand.

That's no problem at all. I figured that would be a part of the deal.

[Pen will do just that...? Suiting up and swimming out to start digging out the plants and nestling them inside the chest. After tearing out the bottom, of course. Can't have the plants getting cramped. She's careful and quick and it really shouldn't take that long unless Bruce has other ideas.]

[And while Pen is doing that, Bruce will offer a few minor suggestions but mostly seems to be floating around and watching. He's a bit anxious about his flowers, but ultimately he's comforted by the fact Pen seems to know what she's doing. While she's doing that, Seto is free to grab the piece. Bruce is far too distracted by the flowers and ongoings and describing what parts of the ocean he procured these plants.

...he loves his garden, okay.]

[This is totally cool, and by the time she's finished she's wondering if she'll ever get a chance to see it when it's recovered from her excavation. She will miss Bruce...]

All done. I hope you'll get it to grow in some new shapes with that framework.

[ slides back in here to say that Kaiba's picked up the piece while Pen was gardening with Bruce and has stowed away the piece safely in the storage area of the vehicle!

and with that, they've got 4/4 pieces and are going to be gearing up to head back to the main space station right now.

but first, directed at Pen: ]

... Do you want a picture with him?

[ he sounds vaguely amused, although Pen's go pro has probably been running this entire time, tbh.

and to bruce, he'll also mime a tipping of his non-existent hat. ]

[Bruce shakes Pen's hand with much enthusiasm because he's so thrilled? Look at his beautiful garden. LOOK AT THIS LOVELY PIECE?]

No, no, thank you! This is much better than that hunk of junk. Much obliged. [He tips his hat to Seto, too.] Do say hello to Surina for me. [And he gently pushes their sub on its way out of his garden, scurrying back to attend to his flowers.]
