READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Getting to wing 2 is going to be a challenge if Souji and Juzo aren't that athletic! The levers and buttons can be fussed with to raise the platforms, but they are very narrow like logs. They will have to jump from platform to platform to get over there unless they have another method to get across.

Once they get over there, which of the three rooms would they be checking?

Take the golden dragon and fly if y'all want to be a couple of dirty cheaters!! It's entirely up to you which way you want to go with that, sure.

Also no there's two. I misremembered my own map why. ANYWAY OKAY so room #2 is...full of food? It looks like it's a room full of free samples with everything from chicken wings to sliders to pasta to cakes and more. The labeling in a foreign language. The food itself looks normal, but there may be some consequences if they try to sample them.

What will they do?

Nothing, at first glance. However, the more that Juzo eats the more his features begin to change under he morphs into this guy.

You might want to figure out how to fix that by checking around the lab for other potions, or even testing out some of the other food!

well............ now i know that's the effects of the food.... i want souji to eat as well but how quick are the changes with each thing they eat?? if it's a slow thing until they just suddenly poof into an animal then souji will be will like oh nothing happened hm i will eat too because i'm hungry

It's a very slow progression, yes! Like their features will slowly be changing without notice until bam, animal.

Should Souji choose to partake in this meal, too, he will find himself slowly morphing until he becomes this beautiful creature. Not this exact one, but I'm linking it anyway because he's my favorite.

They will still be able to talk! So they can at least communicate with their teammates as well.

I AM SO GLAD okay important questions

1) can souji still somehow summon his personas like this, how does he crush the card, does he just bite it like what is the dealo
2) what if juzo and souji just... chooses not to change back like what happens, are they going to be a bear and a fox for the whole event because please (also because souji doesn't trust eating the food after this change and he definitely wouldn't trust any potions)
3) i'm assuming that juzo and souji will be the average size of a bear and fox after their change right??

1.) If he can throw the card and bite down on it, I don't see why not...he's still technically himself. Just cute and fuzzy and yippy now.
2.) If they don't want to change back they can stay that way, but that might be a liiiiittle awkward for what's happening in week three. Think on that wisely!
3.) You are absolutely correct.

I'm not sure if Ichi wants to do it this way, but asking for both of us just in case! Could we use different accounts for their animal selves because icons are important?

after the mess in room 2, they'll probably head into room 1 so anything we should know about that? o:

eta: ALSO DOES ROOM 1 HAVE DOORKNOBS because they don't have thumbs so can they just break down the door

There is a doorknob and Juzo can probably claw the dumb thing down. Room 1, however, only has a lot of baking and cooking supplies! It's definitely a kitchen. Where else would they have gotten their tasty food from?

hmmm is there anything in the kitchen that they could investigate or look around for? :o no hidden doors or knocking down a fridge to reveal a ~mysterious~ door?

and while juzo and souji are still in room 2, anything else they can investigate there? since juzo is knocking down a lot of stuff so anything under the piles of food or anything :|a

In Room 2, they'll find a door that actually leads around to the backside of Room 1, so they may not even need to claw down Room 1 if they figure that out. The entire thing actually functions as a circular room.

In Room 1, they won't find any other doors besides the above, but they will find in the fridge...eggs. Lots and lots of eggs. They look like plastic easter eggs though and seem to be filled with little prizes. Most of these items are candy (fit for human consumption) and little trinkets, but eventually if they open enough eggs they will come across a cabinet key.

This key will fit into a cabinet on the wall and if they can figure out how to open it, they will find a recipe indicating several potions ingredients they need, and half of the pink ink needed for the escape pod. The other half seems to need brewing and the ingredients can be found in other parts of the lab. The recipe indicates that they need a shriveled monkey's paw, the hairs from an elephant, flamingo feathers, essence of pomegranate, crushed dandelion root, sea salt, and a drop of llama's blood. These ingredients are to be brewed at a certain temperature (indicated on the recipe) and brew for at least a day before adding the llama blood.

But hopefully they can figure out how to do this without opposable thumbs. They may require assistance on this one.

can souji or juzo find either the essence of pomegranate or the sea sat in the kitchen or the room with all the food? a kitchen gotta have some ingredients

Hi Ichi! They can find the essence and the sea salt in both places, technically! There isn't enough essence in the kitchen so that will need to be pulled from storage 2, but the sea salt can be located in the kitchen quite easily.

Can they make out anything of the food labels or is it just some kind of gibberish?

The food labels are written in English, but most of the labels have faded after being in the cabinets and lab for so long! So it may as well be gibberish, basically, but with some effort they can figure it out.
