READY: START Team Yzma roster: Carmen Sandiego, Dave Strider, Elizabeth, Emil Vasterstrom, Juzo Sakakura, Lucy/Kaede, Penelo, Seto Kaiba, Shouto Todoroki, Souji Seta, Yato. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of thunder... This is the Team Yzma Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! [It certainly is! Lucy didn't even get huffy at his stumbling over birds.

She just. Carefully tries to poke the jellyfish in its head, away from its eyes. She's remarkably gentle about it.]

I'm not sure. I just... got him. He showed up out of nowhere, actually.

But I don't think so, he hasn't... acted like he needs anything?

I don't even know what he is.

No, like, a little before we got here.

[ Emil tries to pick up slimy, who then wriggles a bit ]

I think he's ticklish too.

[Lucy blinked not quite owlishly because she wasn't an owl, but definitely like Emil had asked her something more profound than just naming a jellyfish.]

How do you feel about Gelébjörn?

What's that mean?

[Something like...water related? That seemed fitting for a jellyfish.]

Maybe Ika?

[Or they could name it squid.]

What's Ika? That sounds like a girl's name,

I forgot what they're called.

Jelly bears?

The bear-shaped candy that is soft?

I don't think he's a squid...

[ The slimy thing hops up and down oozily. Emil is not sure what that means. ]

[Lucy's brow furrows.]

...maybe he's nodding?

Well, no, but. I thought it was cute.

We can call him... Ikabjörn?

Squid.

Bear.

[A noble name for a majestic creature. Lucy's mouth quirks upwards at the corner a bit, but she doesn't exactly smile. She never did.]

Ikabjörn then.

[She sort of manages the pronunciation, even! Mostly because she just has to parrot back what Emil was saying. She doesn't know about the dots, or that that's a j, or how to write it down.]

Ikabjörn.

[ He grins and it's okay. He pronounces Ika a little weird, even though he'd be able to spell it just fine. ]

I think Ikabjörn likes you.

[Umlauts will blow her mind, man.]

Does he?

[She reaches over to poke at the creature's head again, though she wasn't sure if...it liked that or was just putting up with it. Was it like scratching a dog's ears, or like bothering a cat?]

[ Ike looks up at her and leans towards it, so. ]

Yeah, I definitely think so.

Which is good... I don't think he freezes things on my command.

[Aw, who's a cute jellyfish thing. Lucy scratches its head some more. It's rather squishy.]

How long do they freeze for?

[frisyr]

Not long. About five seconds. But he tries.

Somewhat belatedly, she has another thought.]

...the slime's not bad for you, is it?

[Lucy doesn't stop petting(?) the creature though. She's already been exposed, it'd be too late anyway.]

I don't know. I've only had him a few days.

If you want, he can probably keep you company a little while.

[Lucy blinks again, freezing in place a bit awkwardly. Including mid-pet.]

[ Looks like he does his power even without command. ]
