Luckily, your phone or whatever device you have handy to check the network chooses that exact second to go haywire... It seems like someone is manually picking and choosing from a list of every Retrospec user who didn't disappear into the void, and several names queue up. > initialize support team CONFIRMED. The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM BRANDYWINE as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Brandywine's access point is in the Recollé University Basement. Team members will find a door in a hallway they've never seen before so long as they approach it in a group of two or more team members. Only Team Brandywine team members can see or enter the basement sublevels at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they enter the door! The door looks like an ordinary key-card locked door, although it will open without need of a card for Team Brandywine members so long as the entry requirements are met. This is the Team Brandywine Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Once they traverse the library a little, they will fall into...

The Science-Fiction Genre. The area changes to that of a sci-fi space port! It is set up like this, and they can go to whichever colored hanger they feel like first!

Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?

Okay they're going to start with the blue hanger!

Inside the blue hangar, they will find the Port Authority Offices! The very tentacled alien in charge says they're going to have to get approval clearance from the other hangars if they want him to give them a landing zone.

(The landing zone is a key. They want that!)

Presumably they just have to make nice with the other hangars?

Okay so they'll circle their way around the loop. Which would make red next.

The red hanger folks are sort of tiny mice in space uniforms! They will say that what they really want more than anything else in the world is some cheese trading rights from the people in the yellow hanger.

Moving in a loop, the pink hanger is populated by a bunch of cat-like aliens who would like to have a tea party. The party can join them or not as they choose! If they do join, the cat-aliens will insist that the party win at a game of charades to earn their approval clearance.

Okay so so far it's

Blue: Need to get the approval of everyone
Red: Mice who want cheese from yellow
Pink: Tea party cats who will be playing charades with them
Green: Unknown
Yellow: Might have the cheese?
Gold/Orange: Unknown

Could we get some more info on the last three hangers?

Sure!

Green has some very nice trees who want the team to paint them a flower picture! Yellow does have the cheese, but will request the team do a group dance to get it. Orange has some bright teal people who insist they want to know more about the team's space shuttle before they do anything else.

Do they have a space shuttle? Is there a way to get one if they don't?

They do not! However, they can make up all the cool details about their hypothetical space shuttle that they want.

So they are just about to go to the authorities to say everyone approves of them. Does this mean they get the landing zone? And do they need to do anything else in this area after getting it?

[recollecters]

Once they get the landing zone they will be handed a key! And that key will warp them back to Mr. Baroque, where they can undo 1 lock.

Will he have anything to say or can we consider the thread done once the lock is unlocked?

[recollecters]

He will say "thanks" and wait for the other locks to be undone! Once the other teams wrap up or at least two other teams wrap up - he'll have some plot information to dispense, but he's oddly not the chattiest while stuck in his bubble.
