TEAM BRANDYWINE LOG
After that strange Retrospec post, you may be wondering how to contact this "technician". Luckily, your phone or whatever device you have handy to check the network chooses that exact second to go haywire... Team Brandywine roster: Ann Takamaki, Chiyo Sakura, Elda Marker, Fynn Rygdea, Goro Majima, Jiroutachi, Kurama, May, Shouta Aizawa, Sora, Sorey, Souji Okia (PM). On whatever device you use to view the retrospec application, you may note the following scrolling on the screen instead of the usual options: ALERT: CRITICAL TIME-SPACE ANOMALY ACTIVE. SEARCHING FOR ADMIN... SEARCHING FOR ADMIN... DESIGNATED ADMIN CANDIDATE: EMPLOYEE #91962 M. MAHONEY PLEASE INPUT AUTHORIZATION CODE. The prompt does not seem to be for you, however, as the text prompts continue to scroll, this time with some input. > ********************** ACCEPT ADMIN STATUS Y/N? > y DESIGNATE PROGRAM TO RUN. PLEASE BE ADVISED WE ARE SYSTEM CRITICAL. > run subroutine designation echolocation-alpha CONFIRMED. EMPLOYEES ACTIVE IN AREA: 2 > list employees EMPLOYEES ACTIVE: M. FITZWILLIAM LEVEL 0 ACCESS, INTERN M. MAHONEY FULL SYSTEM ACCESS, ADMIN > search for alternative assets CONFIRMED. SENDING ALTERNATIVE ASSET LIST. Names scroll by on the screen. and look, there goes yours! It seems like someone is manually picking and choosing from a list of every Retrospec user who didn't disappear into the void, and several names queue up. > initialize support team CONFIRMED. TEAM DESIGNATION? > brandywine CONFIRMED. TEAM BRANDYWINE MISSION PARAMETERS? PLEASE BE ADVISED SYSTEM ENERGY LEVELS ARE CRITICALLY LOW. > make contact with sysadmin > contact point entrance 2 > temporary access level 1 granted CONFIRMED. MISSION PARAMETERS SET. TEMPORARY ACCESS LEVEL 1 GRANTED. The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM BRANDYWINE as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Brandywine's access point is in the Recollé University Basement. Team members will find a door in a hallway they've never seen before so long as they approach it in a group of two or more team members. Only Team Brandywine team members can see or enter the basement sublevels at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they enter the door! The door looks like an ordinary key-card locked door, although it will open without need of a card for Team Brandywine members so long as the entry requirements are met. This is the Team Brandywine Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Please be aware you are responsible for reporting your own participation & objective completion efforts with links; the moderators will try to keep up with threads, but as we are currently running several teams with participation, we require you to keep us up to date! Please read each of the toplevels and instructions!
The schedule for Team Brandywine is as follows: WEEK 1: Objective 1; CLEAR: M. Mahoney; MauriceObjectives will be given in mod toplevels to this post with instructions; please check the log currently for Objective 1 to see how this will work. NPC interactions will be rnged from your team roster once per week, and toplevels for those will also be posted, although all team members can hear/see these interactions! |
WEEK THREE OBJECTIVE
There is also a toplevel for their entry into the Library live at this time, thank you!
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Resolve the twists within the Library.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Free Mr. Baroque.
The primary objective is required to "win" objective one; completing the secondary objective is optional and may net higher rewards. Threads which progress towards either objective should be reported to this toplevel. Your primary objective cannot be completed solo, and will require you to work as a team! At least 9 of 12 team members must participate to pass. You must also solve the objective; be sure to communicate with your teammates and please let the moderators know when you need to investigate any given room or location; everything is currently locked unless the room has been previously cleared, and to open it you must alert the moderators in the appropriate top-level here!
OBJECTIVE REPORTING
Please label which objective you're reporting for (i.e. Primary or Secondary).

This might count for both primary and secondary? I'm not sure.

ROOM/AREA EXPLORATION

The Western Genre. The area changes to that of desert, though there is a small town as well! There is a saloon, a sheriff's department, and a townhouse to be found. There are also stables.
Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?
no subject
If they opted to check out the sheriff's department first thing what would they find?
no subject
The first problem is that there's a brawl in the saloon, and he needs them to break it up. They can do this absolutely however they like! It seems to have been caused by one Western Character hitting another Western Character with a bottle.
It is very loud and obnoxious!

The Science-Fiction Genre. The area changes to that of a sci-fi space port! It is set up like this, and they can go to whichever colored hanger they feel like first!
Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?

The Fantasy Genre. The area changes to that of a bustling fantasy city! Locations of interest include: an apothecary shop, a blacksmith's place, a castle they can only get into the entry hall of, and a library! Inside the Library. This is getting silly. There is also a town crier who will indicate he has some errands, if they want to run them for him.
Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?

The Mystery Genre. The entire area changes to look like a film noir locale, with not very many people around. Locations of interest include: a private detective's office, a bar, lots of deserted alleyways, and a sort of down on its luck restaurant.
Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?

The Steampunk Genre. The entire area changes to look like a floating airship base, with airships coming and going. There are five platforms, and the fourth is the "main" one. It seems there may be a few ship captains wandering about, belonging to the following ships: The Nightingale, Delayed Odyssey, Blushing Sentry, Anchored Phenomenon, and the Blank Marvel.
Furthermore, they are now dressed to match the location and genre. What will they do next?

So could we get a different library section (or one of the unused numbered rooms, but probably the library given the situation)
