bingo threads & overflow
WHO: Majima & everyone
WHERE: Watch out, he's everywhere
WHEN: July
WHAT: Bingo sure is a thing!! New prompts (please come and hit him up!!) + some overflow threads
WARNINGS: majima swears a lot.
i. never gonna give you up (open.)
[ majima's at work, but "working" is maybe not the adjective that would describe what he's doing. he's got give pink shirts in various stages of being bedazzled. they all read I <3 Retrospec (in comic sans.) but are adorned with all kinds of different things. one has hearts made out of gems, another dragons drawn on it, a third with a flowers. ]
Damn, they're turnin' out pretty well.
[ he says to no one in particular!!! also, he may be a bit too optimistic about how they're turning out but it's one of those #DoItForTheBingo things that he can't turn down. He's going to sell these shirts!! even if he only sells them to irony crowd.
if anyone happens upon him he will show off one of these hideous pink beauties:]
Wanna buy it? It's $5.
[ look bedazzling isn't free. ]
ii. never gonna let you down (open to anyone feasibly a stranger.)
[ the hardest squares are, of course, the ones he has to actively find strangers for. it's hard to pick out people who are at once a stranger but also definitely on retrospec and he spends more than a little bit of time looking through different profiles to get a sense of what people look like who are on the app but he doesn't know.
whenever he spots one, at least, he has no problems walking up to them to engage about bingo. ]
Hey! Can ya do me a favor? It's for this bingo shit.
[ feel free to take him up, or run quickly in the other direction if you're totally over bingo at this point. it's true that people have been roped into all kinds of weird shit lately. and with majima this could be as simple as getting sung to -- or it could be fighting, and does he really look like a dude who wanna take on? ]
iii. never gonna run around and desert you. (open.)
[ ok, real talk: the bingo-ing does get exhausting for everyone, even someone used to randomly running errands for other people. at a certain point you just gotta take a break. eat an ice cream, walk in the park, whatever. bingos may indeed continue to find you, but maybe for awhile you take a break and relax.
at least, that's what majima's trying to do. balance the substories with the plot, you know? maybe you're a fellow traveler looking for shelter from the onslaught of carolers singing never gonna give you up, or people asking you to duel them. you can hang out and talk about something not bingo related for a little bit.
or maybe you'll just fall into the trap of filling that one last square, anyway. ]
iv. TWISTER PARTY. (closed 2 the twister party ppl.)
[ the twister party one seems like a ridiculous square but between majima and mista they manage to phone a small group of friends to come over to play twister. hopefully everyone is a stranger to someone in the group - or at least, all the people in the group who need the square.
majima agrees to hold the twister party at the club where there's plenty of space to lay it out. you'd think maybe he'd dress more casually, but, nah, he's still in his tux. he's fought in it before so i guess he's plenty flexible even in it. look, sometimes you gotta be ready to work no matter what the time. old habits die hard.
he does bring out a few bottles of beer and some fruit. if they're gonna party, they're gonna do it right, damn it. now he's just gotta wait for this party group to show up.]

OVERFLOW THREADS
Lalli
Alright.
[ majima nods and orders them both matcha - they're in a traditional tea shop, after all, so they might as well. ]
Did ya just get the app recently?
no subject
Yeah. I had to talk to more people than I have in the last five months because of the stupid thing.

I haven't meet them yet, I'd like that, sometime.
[ he may in fact just die, though. ]
Dunno what I'd do with 'em, though.
no subject
Let them hang off your arms like they're monkeys. They love that.
[ He goes back to preparing fish— ] Or pretend to be a pirate with them as your crew.

Tatsuo
[ that's absolutely what makes it fun - they're so evenly matched. tatsuo, with his refined technique and majima with his fierce tenacity. it's like a dance - equal footing and the winner hardly matters when he's having this much fun and it shows. plus, it should be obvious that he's doing at least a little better since losing his eye. ]
Re: Tatsuo
small improvements gradually become big improvements.
A grin plays across Tatsuo's mouth as he uses his shorter height to duck under a punch in an attempt to get inside Majima's reach.]

Sure, I can play a few games.
[ Ah Yes. He is, indeed, seeing the opportunity in her eyes. Which is fine by him because he really wants to get this square taken care of. He holds up the handcuffs. ]
Is that a yes...?

with a heavy sigh, she holds the wrist of her non dominant hand out. ] Let's get this over with.

May & Tatsuo
Yeah, we wouldn't want that.
[ he looks over at tatsuo!!! assessing this situation!! ]
Wanna give it a try?

That was kinda my plan, a spot further away. But if ya can't find one, I'm still here ta make you taller.
[ and majima, at 6', is pretty tall to start with. he's also 100% capable and willing to kick people in the shins for her. ]

twisterrr top-level for other twisterers I guess?
So he's here to play Twister. Not in a tuxedo, but still dressed fashionably because no one can see him looking less than his best. Especially not Mista's boss.
Greet him before the games when he's sipping on his beer... Or after the games after everybody's seen him turn bright red when Mista got anywhere near him.
#crushproblems]

Now they just have to pick out which chocobo to actually ride. Kiryu's got his eye on a red one, but it's not really cooperating despite how many greens (grays?) ]
Here, boy. Here... uh, Hot Rod? [ They seriously... yep, they named the chocobo Hot Rod. But calling his name seems to work out as the chocobo approaches and starts eating out of Kiryu's hand. ]
Cool. I guess this one's mine for now.
