Park; all month
[ At random points in the month, Koutarou goes to the park to sketch. He sits under a tree, or on a bench, or in the middle of the grass, and as time passes he might end up filling the one he’s working in and puts it aside to use the pages in another. ]

The Inkwell; Primarily 3-8
[ Every night during his sister’s so called “visit” he goes to The Inkwell. It’s not like he gets drunk because his tolerance is seriously high, and he knows to be careful so he won’t get a hangover. Of course he’s sketching again, but that doesn’t need to stop you. He’ll look up if he’s addressed, and sometimes he’ll also pause to order another drink or stare out blankly ahead of him, where he sits at the counter. ]

[ Koutarou is pretty sued to having people watch. Some people who commissioned things ended up watching, others who stopped by his atelier could pause their browsing to look, or people stop to look while he's drawing outside. ]

Cats? I was thinking.

Cats is cool. What kind?

( he pauses, shifting closer. )

The strays from the park? You should draw a tiger. Or a lion.

I was considering a fluffy one that I have encountered in an alley a couple of times, but I could draw a tiger or lion as well.

[ You don't see many lions or tigers on a day-to-day basis, though. ]

( here Yuri shrugs; he's ultimately ambivalent to the subject, now more interested in the act. )

( lapsing into an expectant silence. he's not the world's most gifted conversationalist as it is. )

To be honest, a lot of things can do that.

[ How about a fluffy cat cuddling with a tiger, then? He just needs to remember what the tiger he's seen at the zoo and on pictures looks like and it's not that hard to pull off. ]

( he earns both a squint and a snort not long after, since Yuri can't believe he so easily admitted that. who does that? this guy, apparently. )

No hesitation, you just say that? Weirdo.

( on the one hand, there's no heat behind what Yuri says. on the other hand... he just called him a weirdo. #teensthesedays )

[ He blinks in confusion, pen momentarily pausing as he looks at the boy. ]

I know I've been called a weirdo plenty of times but did I say something that weird this time?

Uh, at least straight...forward? "A lot of things can light my fire."

( he raises an eyebrow as he looks back to the older man. see? it's............. please tell Yuri he's not the only one who sees why that can be racy. )
