[ It's easy enough for her to block the hit, bringing her arm up to stop his punch from landing. Given how light his was, her block probably hurt him more than her.

She could take advantage of the opening that creates, but she'll hold off. He's a beginner, so she's approaching this fight with kiddie-gloves; best to let him try to strike her and simply remain on the defensive for now. ]

You don't need to hold back for my sake. I am used to sparring.

I know, but I don't want to accidentally hurt you.

[ Though given how he knows nothing, it's probably more likely that she'd hurt him than the other way around (like what just happened), but... he'll try to actually throw a real punch at her. This time, he'll aim for her other shoulder. ]

[ Said bluntly. She's... pretty confident in her abilities, and especially given his lack of experience, she's not very worried. Hopefully that doesn't offend him too much.

But at least he's hitting harder this time, though she still won't let him land the hit. Her right hand catches his wrist while her other hand presses against his upper arm, forcing his punch wide. If he were a more practiced student, she'd follow it up by using his momentum to throw him to the ground, but somehow she doubts he knows how to land. ]

[ He definitely does not know how to land and he's glad that she doesn't try to toss him onto the ground because he has work tomorrow and he needs his body to serve tables. ]

[ Okay, he can't really punch her anymore so... he tries to kick her?? Is this how you fight?? He still doesn't really want to hurt her so he doesn't kick with the front tip of his shoe, just does a swinging motion so he can kick and hit her with the side of his foot. ]

[ Again, she'll bring up her arms to catch his leg before it connects and slow its momentum considerably. She feels a little ridiculous like this, letting him swing at her while she just blocks it... but maybe she can use this as a teaching moment. That wasn't very good form for a kick. ]

Put more force into it. If you want to do a roundhouse kick, really use your momentum to your advantage, like this.
