WHAT: The log for the blind dates event! Awkward dates and disasters within.
WARNINGS: None!

It’s finally the fated day: Valentine’s.

Some of Recolle’s citizens might be going out, spending the day with their loved ones, while others might be sitting in bars, crying into their drinks. For a number of “lucky” ones, they might have gotten dragged into a blind date!

The Narukami twins have done their jobs. All the matches have been released. Partners have been assigned. Messages have been sent out. Now all that needs to happen are the actual dates. So, run free, everyone. The entire city is there to be their playground. They can go on their own respective dates, join up with other couples, spy on others, sabotage some, anything is fair game. After all, it’s not really fun if someone’s not crashing on another person’s party, right?

This is an open mingle post, so multiple threads can happen anywhere and everywhere. Indicate if the thread is closed if you’d like to keep it private, however! Can't go wrong with fettichini alfredo.

[Eleanor was so helpful in choosing the unhealthiest thing on the menu. Not everyone had her metabolism, after all. She was, in fact, ordering that, and after a couple seconds she closed her menu.]

We probably can't get away with ordering wine, huh?

[He laughs nervously.]

I don't think that even I could get away with that...

[But he does seem receptive to her choice.]

But fettichini alfredo? Now that's a lot easier to get. I'll roll with that too!

Probably not. [Eleanor leaned back a bit.] I don't even really like wine. It just would've been amusing to try, I think.

[A grin.]

It's delicious, but don't blame me if you get fat.

Some say it's an acquired taste! [He does seem surprised that she's had it, though.

But then he raises his hands defensively.]

H-hey now, I'm not going to be putting on the pounds that easily! A little pasta never hurt anyone...

I'm just teasing, Kurt. [She snickered, setting her menu down on the table.]

I guess you have to exercise to be on tv, right? So you can just burn it off then.

Heh, right. Some of them call me the Fuzz of Steel! [He flexes an arm, although he doesn't actually look muscular at all. It might just be part-exercise, part magical metabolism.]

Either way? We got this! [Unless there are further objections, he'll wave the waiter order and place his order! With some soda as his drink of choice.]

[Eleanor just laughed softly at that, rolling her eyes, and then ordered her dinner as well. Once the waiter and the menus were gone, she sat there quietly for a few seconds, watching Kurt.]

You know, it's odd. Normally we would be having a perfectly entertaining conversation right now. But I feel...a little awkward maybe?

Like it's supposed to be different.

[He frowns as he thinks that over.]

I... I guess it's a little awkward... [He does feel a bit awkward, but he has trouble putting his finger on it.] What should be different?
