WHAT: The log for the blind dates event! Awkward dates and disasters within.
WARNINGS: None!

It’s finally the fated day: Valentine’s.

Some of Recolle’s citizens might be going out, spending the day with their loved ones, while others might be sitting in bars, crying into their drinks. For a number of “lucky” ones, they might have gotten dragged into a blind date!

The Narukami twins have done their jobs. All the matches have been released. Partners have been assigned. Messages have been sent out. Now all that needs to happen are the actual dates. So, run free, everyone. The entire city is there to be their playground. They can go on their own respective dates, join up with other couples, spy on others, sabotage some, anything is fair game. After all, it’s not really fun if someone’s not crashing on another person’s party, right?

[ karkat does not care if anyone thinks they are dating because after tomorrow, if anyone asks, he will just say no. today though, he is completely okay with pretending to be dating yosuke if it means they get free crap. SORRY BRO. ]

[ A beat as he casts Karkat a sidelong glance. ]

[ and there are plenty of cute people at school, true, just... no one he is particularly interested in. ]

And even if I did the chances of getting paired with them would have been really fucking low, right?

Though it feels a little bit like Karkat is trying to say that Yosuke's plan of getting set up with a cute girl at school who might actually want to spend time with him was a little ridiculous. (Maybe that's not even it, but that's definitely how Yosuke is taking it.) ]

Trust me, if I had a definite person I liked then the person who signed me up for this would have instead been attempting very hard to get me on a date with whoever the fuck that would be.
