[ as soon as he found out it was kiryu's birthday he had time to prepare and now that he and kiryu are dating, the need to make this great is even more real. luckily when you own your own club that isn't open during the day, you're pretty set!! he invites everyone over but it's, of course, a surprise for kiryu. he just calls him and says to meet him at the club while he finishes up something so they can go out.

he's got the whole club decked out in party decorations and all of you are getting a party hat whether you want one or not!!! there's streamers and banners and all kinds of food and also booze, plus a band playing a mix of smooth jazz and lounge music which is the peak kiryu aesthetic.

majima's not nervous beforehand -- okay, maybe a little, but he really wants it to be perfect for kiryu. but everyone is for sure getting kicked out by four because he's gotta clean up quick for work afterwards, though he might sneak out after he cleans up. it's his boyfriend's birthday?? there are important things here.

anyways enjoy, mingle, have a good time, eat a ton of food and drink and celebrate kiryu! yeah! ]

I guess I needed an excuse to get out into nature anyway.

[He rarely does. He's a bit of a city boy. He likes the beach, but rarely does he even go into a park.]

Hey, if you ever need a reason to get out, you could always join me? So I don't get mauled by a cat or something. Sure we're not distressingly small anymore, but I would bet a cat would try to maul me.

Sure thing. [ He nods! Truthfull he should get out more too. ] I have experience fighting off big cats.

Not quite. I did remember fighting tigers, though. With my fists. It was pretty cool.

Yeah. Two tigers, actually.

[ He nods like this is totally normal. He really did punch tigers. ]

I think I was trying to save some little girl, but the why is kinda fuzzy.

Did your memory tell you more about the girl?

[Kaz's memory never told him why the man with the eye-patch was chasing him. Just that Kaz was sure he was going to die.]

No... I still don't know who that girl was. I haven't remembered her anywhere else.

[ He will one day, to be sure, but not yet. All he knows is that there was a little girl... Kind of weird for a dude who remembers being a yakuza. ]

Some of the stuff I remember is pretty random.

Like... I remembered I played golf against someone, or that I used to race those tiny cars. Like, before before.
