I. Church on the Hill
[When the dreamscape finally settles, a building will loom right in front of you – most likely a church, as the stone cross that sits at the very top is pretty conspicuous. However, given that the weather has suddenly shifted into a wet evening, rain clouds gathered ominously in the sky, the sight might not seem very godly.
The doors to the church appear shut. However, the silence is cut abruptly by the sound of broken… glass? Maybe a busted window?
Who knows. Have a look around: either through the church doors, or to hunt down the mystery of that noise. There might be plenty here to find.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature human parasites of the worm variety, emotional/physical trauma and abuse (mostly discussed, some shown), and might involve a physical fight (though that can be worked around, just lemme know what you prefer)]
II. Matou Mansion
[When the dreamscape finally settles, you’re inside a house.
... Or, at the very least, a very long hallway. It is the stuff made of nightmares because it’s dark, it’s cold, it creaks with unexplainable noises, and even if you turn around, there won't be a door.
Looks like the only way is forward for now. This should go fiiiine.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature the emotional/physical abuse of a child (discussed, not shown!), murder, discussion of human parasites, looooots of worms, and might involve a physical fight (though that can be worked around)]
III. All the World's Evil
[When the dreamscape finally settles, you’re in a large, expansive room – to call it a basement would not do it justice. It looks and feels like a crypt, instead, a place where the dead sleep, and the holes lining the walls won’t do anything to dissuade you from that thought. In fact, a whiff of the air comes back with the stink of decayed bodies, and though it might be faint, there seems to be… squirming noises.
No matter where you look, though, you won’t find anything living. The floors are bare. No bodies come crawling down the walls. It's as blank as a tomb. Instead, there are three potential ways to move forward. A wooden door to the left and a bolted door to the right – and then, a staircase that seems to lead up and up, to an unknown destination.
Try a door or try the stairs. Try something quick. Just because it seems empty doesn't mean someone isn't watching.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature discussion of trauma and abuse, murder, possession, suicide ideation, a girl who is obviously not in her right mind, and will absolutely involve some level of a physical or mental battle. 'Cause, y'know. Dark Sakura is not very nice.]

Just a voice. It calls out as if incased in darkness, tone level yet with a hint of accusation:
Who is this?]
no subject
Probably nobody you know very well. [ Her own voice is a bit on edge, if only because its teetering on the edge of fear. ] My name is Mio, if you must know it, though.
no subject
The voice on the other side lets the name linger between them, and for a few beats, is silent afterward. But give it enough time, and--
She'll probably kill you then.
Not sounding quite as nasty, now. More thoughtful, and with a hint of concern.
What is it that you want, Mio? To just escape?]
no subject
Well, that's definitely interesting, to say the least and while it's true that she does want out, hearing the words 'kill' and the scent in here... ]
I'd rather not die in here, thank you very much. But if I wanted to simply escape, I would have probably ran up the stairs by now, don't you think? No... it's a little selfish of me, not to mention that I'm potentially risking my life by even thinking about this, but I want to know more about the person here. This place reeks like the place I remember. Like a glorified torture chamber.
no subject
"That's because it is a torture chamber."
Just... getting that truth out of the way, sounding tired.
"She was tortured since she was four in this room, until her body accepted the magecraft of her new family. Though... well, Grandfather might not be here, I'd still advise you not linger long. I am not the master of this space, so I can't guarantee your safety."
Another pause.
"That tortured girl will judge you soon. She decides if you live or die. Though I'm afraid she is not in her right mind anymore. She locked away her reason in here, because being angry at the world is more satisfying when you're crazy."]
no subject
[ While Mio might actually sound a little miffed, she is, in no way actually angry about the situation she's in. Rather, she's put out by the fact that she has to deal with another one so soon when it's all too fresh in her mind.
But hearing that she was tortured for that long... there's a strange sense of pity. Because she's fairly certain that she's lived a half decent life early on based on her memories. It's just a guess, though. She can't be absolutely certain. ]
She can judge me all she wants, then. I won't be happy if I die in here, even if I did deserve it.
[ There's no way she's going to say that she doesn't, after all. ]
Where do I have to go to find her? Unless she plans to come to me.
no subject
A simple enough answer. Mio would have figured it out eventually. There are few places to go in this dreamscape, after all -- except up the stairs to be judged.
"... Do not touch the shadows. Do not take any of her offers. It's no guarantee, but perhaps if you remind her of what she might lose, she will be merciful again."
The voice... doesn't sound convinced, however, and is only tossing out advice with the highest chances of success]
no subject
[ Her tone is curt and polite as she bows her head in spite of the fact that the voice might not be able to see it before she takes a step back, knowing what must be done. She'll see how this ends. Even if it might not end well, she has no choice but to try.
Turning on her heel, she immediately walks up the stairs; carefully, but quickly. ]
no subject
Sadly, Mio is not going to get a very good vibe from that door, if she believes in anything like a sixth sense.
If she wants to retreat, this is her last chance.]
no subject
So she reaches her hand towards the door and decides to open it.
Let's see what we'll find here. ]
