WHERE: Sakura's dreamscapes
WHEN: August 19th
WHAT: Sakura could use some help escaping her dreamscapes, guys. Try not to get stuck in them.
WARNINGS: There's a lot, so gonna cover them underneath each prompt.
I. Church on the Hill
[When the dreamscape finally settles, a building will loom right in front of you – most likely a church, as the stone cross that sits at the very top is pretty conspicuous. However, given that the weather has suddenly shifted into a wet evening, rain clouds gathered ominously in the sky, the sight might not seem very godly.
The doors to the church appear shut. However, the silence is cut abruptly by the sound of broken… glass? Maybe a busted window?
Who knows. Have a look around: either through the church doors, or to hunt down the mystery of that noise. There might be plenty here to find.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature human parasites of the worm variety, emotional/physical trauma and abuse (mostly discussed, some shown), and might involve a physical fight (though that can be worked around, just lemme know what you prefer)]
II. Matou Mansion
[When the dreamscape finally settles, you’re inside a house.
... Or, at the very least, a very long hallway. It is the stuff made of nightmares because it’s dark, it’s cold, it creaks with unexplainable noises, and even if you turn around, there won't be a door.
Looks like the only way is forward for now. This should go fiiiine.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature the emotional/physical abuse of a child (discussed, not shown!), murder, discussion of human parasites, looooots of worms, and might involve a physical fight (though that can be worked around)]
III. All the World's Evil
[When the dreamscape finally settles, you’re in a large, expansive room – to call it a basement would not do it justice. It looks and feels like a crypt, instead, a place where the dead sleep, and the holes lining the walls won’t do anything to dissuade you from that thought. In fact, a whiff of the air comes back with the stink of decayed bodies, and though it might be faint, there seems to be… squirming noises.
No matter where you look, though, you won’t find anything living. The floors are bare. No bodies come crawling down the walls. It's as blank as a tomb. Instead, there are three potential ways to move forward. A wooden door to the left and a bolted door to the right – and then, a staircase that seems to lead up and up, to an unknown destination.
Try a door or try the stairs. Try something quick. Just because it seems empty doesn't mean someone isn't watching.]
[ooc: this prompt will potentially feature discussion of trauma and abuse, murder, possession, suicide ideation, a girl who is obviously not in her right mind, and will absolutely involve some level of a physical or mental battle. 'Cause, y'know. Dark Sakura is not very nice.]

Well! If he's alone in this place, he will... cautiously open up that door and weigh how Nope it is compared to the creepy hallway.]
no subject
It is, in fact, a rather normal-looking room! More well-lit than the hallway if that matters to Theo. Even a cursory glance will reveal a closet door (closed) to his right, while further back is a bed, a desk, and a full-length mirror.
Everything is clean and well-kept, and with enough hints in the decor to suggest this is a girl's room.
He's free to explore further, or backtrack if he'd rather]
no subject
Hmmmmmmm.
There's a wry part of him that wonders if whatever this building is obviously haunted by would be moved to kill him any harder if it came across him snooping around a girl's room. But, while he still doesn't particularly like the idea, he will at least do a cursory check around the room, enough to pick up on anything obvious without spending too much time in one place.
He is, naturally, keeping an ear open in case he hears sounds of others around as well.]
no subject
And a cursory check while net him a few things: first, the bed's sheets seem rumpled. Not to the point it's hiding any body-shaped corpses, clearly not that, but it's there to check further if he'd like.
That mirror, though.
Even a casual glance will have him noticing that for a brief second... that was not his reflection.]
no subject
What... is reflected in the mirror...?]
no subject
Nothing.
There is currently nothing reflected in the mirror, not even Theo's reflection. But the moment he faces it properly, he's going to hear a voice -- the voice of a girl in her teens. Theo might barely recognize it, as he's heard it once on the phone many months ago.
Killing him... was easy. It was so easy.
Why... why didn't I do it before?
The voice starts to break into a high-pitched laugh.
See? Senpai, I was crazy from the beginning--!
-- And if Theo is still staring into that mirror, he's going to notice that there is something appearing in the mirror...]

bad.
Back to the dining room we go! He is not here for this shit.]
no subject
Well the dining room is blessedly empty for him, enjoy that. Again, he has the option to look around or simply head back into the hallway.
... Which has admittedly start making noises.
Like scurrying feet.]
no subject
He presses his lips together to keep himself from cursing. Anything he can duck behind?]
no subject
And assuming he's listening closely, the feet will come to a slow stop near the junction where the hallway and dining room meet. After a couple of seconds--
A little girl's head pokes out, staring into the room. She can't be older than six, and simply looks around with an utterly blank expression.]
no subject
The good news is, it's not a monster. Even better, if it's a little kid, that probably means the hallway is safe...? Ish? Hopefully she doesn't raise an alarm, though...
He'll watch for a minute to see what she does for now.]
no subject
There's only one thing she will say over her shoulder before leaving:
If you stay in that room, it will get you.]
no subject
There's a short hesitation, because really, how much does he trust a creepy child's word over the general creepiness of the building?
But it's short. Because this whole place is full of bad vibes and, geeze, maybe he can handle a creepy child better than whatever's in the room?
Either way, he's on his feet now, moving quietly to the hallway. Is she still there?]
no subject
She's also going to be swallowed in the darkness of the hallway if he doesn't keep up! Though even if he makes a run for her, it will always seem like he's one crucial step behind the girl.
-- Which, y'know, is probably annoying when she darts to the right, disappears, and there is the slam of a door. Hm.]
no subject
This is super annoying, it's true. Is the door unlocked?]
no subject
He can try that knob all he wants -- it won't do more than jiggle.
But at least this girl is polite enough to make conversation while he tries:
"Who are you?"]
no subject
[It's a possibility, as far as he's concerned.]
I'm just a guy who wants out of here.
no subject
"I don't know how to curse people yet."
A-at least she told him the truth.
"... Grandfather is the one who knows the way out."]
no subject
There isn't, like, a door?
no subject
Hopefully Theo didn't expect this child to be super helpful.]
no subject
There's no door you use to leave? ...Windows?
Anything?
no subject
Theo can take from that what he will.]
no subject
[One would assume.]
