[Maybe you weren't even in line of sight of Shuji. Just about everyone has a reason to be out and about on a Saruday afternoon, and nobody wants their day interrupted by the ground falling out from under them. Maybe you don't even instantly recognize that the library entrance you fall into would be part of Shuji's subconscious and not anybody else's.

This is how things ended up for you today, unfortunately. Might as well take a look around and see if you can't spot the man himself.

[She watches something she barely remembers play out entirely differently. A different last name, her sister's first name. Herself, more nervous, more acquainted with Mr. Tsushima... how does she know him? It's just through Retrospec, right? But in this, they were neighbours.

She wasn't Kara Ellis's sister. She was a scared foster kid, afraid of being thrown away again, confessing to Shuji that she never lives up to families' expectations because she's already a person defined for herself and not whatever it is they wanted.

You know how you go to the store and buy something, then it doesn't fit, so you take it back?

Lina shuts the book and shoves it back into its place.]
