[OPEN] In which a woman pushes herself
WHO: Elda & Anyone!
WHERE: All Around Town
WHEN: The later part of June
WHAT: Elda Marker is suffering the beginnings of complications from not having human blood since the end of May, but is trying to do tasks anyway
WARNINGS: Elda might get a little weird if your character's blood smells nice to her but she won't attack or anything.
I. When things go odd
[ So Elda Marker, as some people no doubt saw earlier in the month is trying to fulfill various tasks this month because she needs to restore people to the city. She needs to restore he son, and the fact that he's still not back is driving her crazy. As a vampire she can only be out at night, but her intention is to accost people and demand, ]
Hey, do something with me. Please. [ Holding out her phone to read her list of things because. Like, she needs to?
That said, she is showing signs of fatigue. Over the last few months the already youthful looking Elda Marker has gotten to looking even thinner and younger, able to easily pass for a woman half her age now. But over the last month, as it heads towards the end, she's started to get bags under her eyes, wrinkles on her face, and has to shake out her hands. She starts to look more like 41, but more importantly, he bones begin to ache a little as if she was even older. Mmm. She might be seen sitting somewhere and drinking water, trying to not think about the fact she can't eat lately. Mmmmmmrrr. ]
II. When things are harder
[ In addition to that accosting people and dealing with the strange feelings of her aging, you might come across Elda Marker trying to fulfill certain tasks without the help of other people! Or at least, she'll be doing this with the hope someone else will step in and do it with her:
Going and fighting monsters on the outskirts of town with a giant spoon in hand and wearing an outfit Jirou's people made for her back in August, if only because it'll mean none of her normal dresses or jeans or the like rip.
Doing yardwork for random people in the middle of the night, planting flowers, pulling weeds, etc. ... She didn't ask first though, so.
Egging someone's house in the middle of the night! ... And then cleaning it up afterwards, hoping no one living in there notices. Or anyone on the street.
Going to the zoo and assuming she can't find any animals who escaped their cages... breaking animals out of their cages just so she can put them back in.
As before, all of these need to happen at night (after the sun is down basically) because she can't be out during the day ]
III. Wildcard
[ Feel free to propose or just tag in with whatever else with me! You can PM me or talk to me at if you want too! But yeah. ]

Did you say eggs?
He hasn’t indulged his mischievous streak in a long time.
“You look like you need to resupply.”
Anyway, this stuff seems to be helping resolve whatever went wrong with the city. It’s the only way to get his sister back.
Let's eggs
... She hasn't realized it but that initial tension did turn her red eyes catlike in the night here.
"What, do you have more?"
Yikes, sorry for the delay!
“I do,” Avery says steadily, barely blinking as Elda’s eyes change. Definitely a trick of the light, nothing to worry about.
He steps forward and holds out the case of eggs, tabs forward, so that she can open them.
“It’s the only way we can get them back, right?”
It's cool, it happens
But given she was doing it? Clearly, she believed it. That said, Elda takes the carton, takes out a few eggs, and then locking one up for a "pitch" - she throws! Into the house, that is.

This one splats aggressively on the front door, thrown with such force it speckles a good bit of the porch with egg as well.
"Admittedly, there are other things, but sometimes you just want to egg someone's house." And it was better than beating up these mysterious people who left weird text messages.

So said the woman, but now he was near, she couldn't help but inhale (you know, because breathing) and take in the scent of him. Well, his blood more particularly. But doing her best to look more even keel - this time she once more goes for the outer wall near to them. Nothing much flashy, other than the speed she gets on her "Fastball" for her frame.
I
Hell, I'm down, but you gotta at least buy me a drink first.
[ then it becomes quickly obvious that was not what was meant — yet she rolls with it anyway, stupid grin and all. ]
no subject
And then nods ]
I mean, that is one of them anyway, so we'll do that and then something else. Good.
no subject
no subject
Good! Let's get going.
no subject
Nah wait, hang on. Not this one. [ she reached out with her hand to try and stop the woman from entering. ] I was here earlier. Loud. Crowded. We want something a little more... personal, yeah? [ Yin tipped her head in the direction of the place across the street. ] Better seats in there. Promise.
no subject
[ There aren't any people in the city save for the people on the app, right? Or had some people started to come back to this district? She looks somewhat incredulous for a moment over her shoulder, her red eyes seeming cat-like for a moment before she shrugs and follows Yin's suggestion. ]
Alright, I'll trust your judgement.
no subject
[ yeah, sure, that makes sense. right? better than trying to pretend there's an actual nightlife happening again. some people just need their little delusions. don't take this one away from Yin because nothing is more pathetic than getting drunk home, alone. ]

ii - yard work
So there was this lanky Korean leaning against the railing with a cat in his arms watching the midnight activities with an amused expression on his face. Which also needs to comment on, punctuated by a low meow from the fuzzy cat he was holding. ]
I do hope that Vic and Huge don't get mad at someone ruining their work.
no subject
If they do, you can bill me for it! It's been years since I did hedges myself, after all.
[ But it will fulfill a task, right? She leans in and, ]
I didn't actually know this was yours.
no subject
[ He shifts his grip on the cat squirming around in his arms and squints at the hedges. Since he didn't have excellent night vision, he couldn't tell if they were ruined or if they were just looking weird because it was night. ]
Though, I'm not too worried about the bill for any repairs. I just don't like getting yelled at by invisible people. So, why are you doing yard work at this time of night? Is it a new hobby?
no subject
[ Like she did. As for these bushes here, she's just sort of taking some off the top as best she can tell from looking and reach given her height. Cleaning up overly growing overgrown places. Or at least, that's the hope. ]
I'm completing something off that task list. I was gonna plant flowers too, but given you're here, probably not.
no subject
[ He grins as he says that, and, deciding that the big fluff of an animal has had enough outside time, goes to stick Cheshire back inside and slide the door shut. Much to the displeasure of the cat, if the yowl was anything to go by.
That done, Yoon-sung jumped down to join her in his yard. ]
Flowers? What kind?
no subject
[ See, she's got some in these potted things in her car just outside his property! ... Or well, you can't see because the car isn't there, but she waves as he comes over. Honestly, she feels a little - a lot, really - silly now that he's here in front of her, but she's not about to let that mess her up... ]

II - Egging
Ah. Egging it for the app?
[That. That poor house, though.]

SOMEONE WAS- ]
Yeah, that's right!
[ The older woman said far too defiantly. ]
no subject
He saw the task on the app, but he's avoided it so far because - well, honestly, it's pretty rude. Someone's going to need to clean that up afterwards, and they aren't likely to be happy about it.]
It might be bad if there's too much...
no subject
[ That said, she's turning to throw another egg there, showing a fair bit of strength for how fast that pitch goes. ]
no subject
[Good pick, good pick, he approves. And then he catches the speed on that and- huh.]
Super strength?
no subject
[ I mean she is like a 90 lb 5' stick of a woman.
But it's said with a smile!! ]
