WHAT: Iwai's paintball birthday party has turned into a paint splattering party! Thanks Retrospec.
WARNINGS: Excessive cuteness,possibly probably likely innuendo involved in any thread with Fai and Iwai together
[When the world went white, it threatened to crush Fai's plans for Iwai's first real birthday party ever. How on Earth were they supposed to have a paintball party when they had to paint the world just to see any of it? Over the next several hours of frantic painting just to see their house and pets again, however, a plan began to evolve.
On Friday a text went out to everyone Fai thought might be coming to the party, and everyone he'd talked to about it:]
CHANGE OF PLANS. BDAY PARTY FOR IWAI, MAY 6 @ 2PM @ UNSTOPPABLE. LETS HELP MUNE-CHAN PAINT UNSTOPPABLE! cake and drinks coming with us. lmk if you need help finding the shop
[Small bits of the paintball shop are already visible, mostly near the corners, as Iwai's done his best to restore his livelihood by himself. And yes this is a surprise party--Fai actually managed to keep from spilling the beans.
Fai will be driving to the party, a cake and snacks and drinks packed into his newly-painted, pretty little sea-green Prius. While the painting is going on he'll be setting up a folding table nearby for refreshments, and there's a good chance he'll end up trying to convince someone to team up with him and splatter everyone else with paint at some point. Because he's a giant ten-year-old.

[Shoot. That was a good point. He was letting his heart and chivalry get in the way of what was really important, which was restoring Iwai's store. He truly wanted to help her out-- spending more time with her was a nice perk, of course-- but not at the expense of leaving the other people working on this side short-handed.]
They might, actually. But I can go over to help you when I'm done here! I'm almost finished with this part of the wall, anyway.
[He'd ask for her to maybe stay here with him instead, since the other side already had so many people, but... no. That'd be selfish. She probably already had her own work she was in the middle of doing over there too. At least they were here together now, for this small break, savoring the time between them.
He finishes off one of the snacks on the plate-- pretty sure chocolate wasn't blue, but it certainly tasted good- before glancing down at it, observing the rainbow of colors upon it.]
Did you help Fai with making all of this? I'm sure it must have been complicated, with nothing being the right color anymore.

[She gives a shrug amid her sheepish giggle at him glancing down at the odd coloured food. At least it tastes alright. Which was her main concern with this. That it at least tasted edible for everyone helping today.]
But whenever you finish, there's no rush to come help us. Just working together, we'll get there!
