[open] [ that picture from the iron giant of the guy yelling ART ]
WHO: Yusuke Kitagawa + OPEN
WHERE: Around Recolle.
WHEN: From 5/3 to 5/12...!
WHAT: Oh just... normal things.
WARNINGS: Excessive use of PAINT.
[ Anyone who runs into Yusuke from the moment he gets his hands on his paintbrush and a paint pot is going to be aware of two distinct things: firstly, that he is an artist and definitely knows what he's doing with the utensils at his disposal. This ain't his first rodeo, that's for sure.
Secondly though, is that Yusuke is painting a lot like a man possessed - he's specifically focused on finding outlines and getting an idea of the layout, despite his well known attention to detail, and just... doesn't seem to be stopping. From the moment he finds his painting tools, he's back tracking to his home and wildly painting the street back into existence.
And this is how he is for the majority of the week. There's a method to his madness though, he's clearly looking for something, and seems to retracing old steps in an attempt to find it. The longer he's at it, the sloppier the paintwork becomes and, quite honestly, the worse for wear Yusuke seems. He only stops when it gets too dark to paint, and returns home, before leaving to begin again early in the morning. Watch him long enough, and you may even catch him swaying on the spot, or heavy lidded, like he's about to fall asleep on his feet.
... Help him? This is just sad. ]

[ It's... not like he hasn't followed this principle before. But it's usually been to the tune of nine hours rather than nine days. ]
It's nothing to concern yourself over.

[ He frowns, and paints another long, dark line of paint across the road. It fans out at the end - branching off into a new junction, and for a second, Yusuke actually looks a little relieved. One road down. Now... if he heads right... ]
I will rest once I have located my home.

[This is a cause for concern. Should she tell someone on Retrospec about this... she's not a babysitter, she doesn't know how to deal with this. But she'll try nevertheless.]
There's an easier way to go about this, you know.

...
[ Oh. That got his attention. ]
How so?

Well, if you just wanted to get home, it's not hard to find locations on map.
no subject
[ But... noted, that would be handy. Using GPS... ]

And then, a sigh.]
What else are you trying to do? [She hates this, but--] Maybe I can help.

...
[ ... Hm. ]
Once I find my home, I should be already. Thank you, but it's fine. [ He's... it's still strange for him to bring it up in conversation with most people. Especially a stranger. ]

I see. But you shouldn't push yourself. Even if I don't know you.
[Mio is trying to be kind, at least...]

[ ... ]
But thank you for your concern, regardless.

Then by all means, I will accept some help.

[She pumps her fists, looking rather triumphant that she's managed to win. Then again, she didn't have much doubts on that front.]
Alright! They do say "two heads are better than one", in the end. Let's go!! ☆
[Mio sounds...way too energetic.]

This might be more akin to two pairs of hands...
[ Just an observation. ]
Speed over style when it comes to the painting, thank you kindly.
no subject
[She's not wrong, even if he's also right.]
I know that much. It's not like there's really much to style to begin with.
no subject
There is always a style to painting.
[ E X C U S E. ]

[Now she's idly curious.]

Art is more interesting when you consider it that way.
