WHAT: It's a birthday party! Amanda is now 18! With Derek throwing in his wizard candy to make things more interesting
WARNINGS: none? Wizard Candy stuff?

It's March 17th and it is the most IMPORTANT first event of the year, at least in Derek's mind. With Amanda turning 18, Derek has tried to create the PERFECTA BIRTHDAY PARTY! Amanda wanted it small and family. So he invited only "family." Foggy (the cousin), Matt (honorary brother), and Tatsuo (also an honorary brother). His apartment is decked out in red streamers, a "HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!" sign strung across the front of his kitchen. He had red party plates and cups, and red and white streamers everywhere else. He figured it was fine since the ones he had hung above Blaise's cat tree was entertaining for his cat.

A. CAKE AND CELEBRATION

The cake is in the center of the table with a box of 24 birthday candles next to it. It's huge and a bit gaudy, but Derek felt this was the PERFECT CAKE. If anyone is wondering, it's chocolate. There is also plenty of soda and water to drink.

It's time to give the birthday girl her gifts!

C. WIZARD CANDY FUN?

So Derek figured a good way to pass the time was to introduce some of his close friends and family to the contents of a package he got from retrospec. It's wizard candy. If a person looks inside they will see that everything has been opened, meaning, Derek (and Chiyo) have tried everything first and didn't die. The contents are as follows:

*Box of chocolate frogs (8) (magical property- The frogs can move)
*Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans (2 boxes) (The flavors)
*Cauldron Cakes (3 cakes)
*Fizzing Whizzbees (1 opened package) (magical property- the consumer floats)
*Exploding bonbons (1 opened package) (magical property- they explode in your mouth)
*Sugar Quill (4 quills)
*Liquorice Wands (opened pack of 6, now 4)
*Pumpkin Pasty (3 pasties)
*Pepper Imps (one opened package) (magical property- the consumer smokes at the ears and nose)
*Peppermint Toad (one opened package) (magical property- the toad "hops realistically in the stomach")

If asked, Derek will tell you if the sweet has magical properties. Feel free to help yourself and experience a bit of magic!

BONUS: WHAT EVER ELSE DECIDES TO HAPPEN AT THE PARTY!

General mingling and what ever crazy decides to happen at the party. This also includes what ever happens once Amanda leaves to hang out with her friends.

All the soda fountain drinks mixed together still tastes better than the weirdest flavor in those jelly beans I bet.

Well... I'm pretty sure I've had a vomit flavored one once or twice. Here let me see if I can find one...

[Derek starts looking through the box of beans.]

If you find a vomit flavored bean I am not eating it.

[Derek pulls out what he thinks is the correct bean. He holds it out to Foggy.]

Oh, where is your sense of adventure?

Inside of me where it belongs. Like my lunch that might decide to leave if I put that in my mouth. [Foggy squints at the bean and wrinkles his nose in disgust.] I'll smell it. How about that?

[Derek extends his arm and holds the bean right under Foggy's nose.]

Take a nice long whiff, just to be sure your smelling it.

[Foggy rolls his eyes and smells the bean. Then smells it again.] I don't smell anything.

[Derek lowers the bean so it's right in front of Foggy's mouth.]

Well, I guess you're just going to have to try it then. So know what it really tastes like.

This is stupid. [He grabs the bean and eats it with a straight face. Impressive!]

[Derek was surprised Foggy actually grabbed the bean and ate it.]

Uh... so... what does it taste like?

[Foggy pauses for dramatic effect.] Toast. [He bursts out laughing. WRONG BEAN DUDE]

[Derek also bursts out laughing.]

Bloody hell, I honestly thought that one would be vomit flavor! Toast? Why are you getting all the safe flavors?

I'm just special that way! [MAYBE MATT SORTED THROUGH ALL THE BEANS WHO KNOWS]

Yeah you're definitely special alright.
