Fun fact: Tellius dragons are weak to Thunder magic

[The crackle of lightning startled Amelia first; she jerked her arm back and recoiled in alarm, shielding herself ineffectually with her sleeve. The look on Eren's face was also concerning, but not as immediate. By the time she moved, the energy had already struck and gone, firing off into the sky.

Her other form would just be a larger target, Amelia's logical mind protested. Taking to the air wouldn't help.

The dragon wasn't listening to that. Amelia barely needed to coax it out of her mind, light flickering up her fingertips. But there was no time for dramatics now, not with a threat so apparent before her. Watching the titan form from empty air was grotesque, but morbidly fascinating. Watching that fist come down was much more pressing.

Her hands became claws, magnitudes larger than they had been. They rose before her many-horned head to meet the fist coming down at her as the dragon uncurled from the light, spines and all. The creature was eerily silent, not yet answering the roar. Stop from being squished first, roars later.

[One blow stopped, another swinging in for her head. Even though the dragon's head was armed with an unreasonable amount of horns, they weren't pointing that way--and seeing something so large so near her face made her jerk away anyway.

Amelia's wings fanned out as she lurched to the side, an instinctive motion rather than a deliberate one. Those limbs still seemed like foreign, alien things--not quite something attached to herself. The tail, too--nut perhaps that could be of use here.

It swept forward and around, spines and all, trying to hook Eren's leg as the dragon raggedly sidestepped away.

[As Eren stepped back, Amelia got a brief moment to regain her footing, but it was a brief moment only.

The sheer length of her own tail was now a detriment; as spiky as the rest of her was, Eren's foot still came down solidly on the spiny frill at the end before she could yank it back out of range. It hurt, like getting an arm pinned in a door, and she finally did roar, fanning her wings and making the nearest branches shudder.

Amelia wouldn't let this insult sit, and in her indignation missed the implication of Eren's posture--drawing back to defend the face, she supposed, a reasonable thing to do. The fanning of her wings turned to a downstroke, and while her talons still scraped the ground the rest of her lurched forwards in a tackle, claws and teeth first.

[The dragon's claws tore into the titan's arms--but didn't move further, as Eren's knee dug into her gut. The scales there blunted most of the impact, but it stopped Amelia's forward movement. Her wings thrashed as she scrambled to get her feet back under her again.

The less-mangled arm seized her throat, instantly tripping off an alarmed response. Amelia's claws redirected, raking and scything at the giant's elbow and forearm. Let go, get it off.

[The dragon grunted as the titan's foot kicked into her gut, stumbling back a step.

She didn't charge right back in, though, tossing her head and straightening up. The clouds of steam caught her eye immediately, the torn flesh beneath, and she tossed her head to shake out her spines. Amelia didn't raise her claws immediately again either, growling a low concerned note instead of garbling words.

Maybe wait for your arms to stitch back on, buddy?? That's a valid excuse for a timeout.
