[ whoops (not really whoops, he had wanted to get her in the offensive either way). eren prepared to meet the effect of his cause, his end goal only beening two things: protect his neck, and go for her wings. they were appendages that had hindered her once before, once given retrain and nowhere else to go.

it was going to be difficult to dodge that, so might as well get ready to take the tackle head on in the seconds it took to reach him. his back legs pulls forward between them, bending his knee to help keep her distance, while his arms strike out in defense. the claws come in second concern— first were the teeth, one hand to her throat while the other bent and reared to strike her many spines. the rest of him falls back to the earth, making it tremble as he hits it, all while his flesh splits between the rips of claws like a well sharpened knife to paper.

he might not feel it in the form of pain, but he could lose function. ]

[The dragon's claws tore into the titan's arms--but didn't move further, as Eren's knee dug into her gut. The scales there blunted most of the impact, but it stopped Amelia's forward movement. Her wings thrashed as she scrambled to get her feet back under her again.

The less-mangled arm seized her throat, instantly tripping off an alarmed response. Amelia's claws redirected, raking and scything at the giant's elbow and forearm. Let go, get it off.]

[ that went two limbs— both of which needed time to lace back together. eren snarls, not having liked the position for his own advantage, both arms being forced to retreat, whether he wanted them to or not, only relying on his legs to wedge further between them and kick her away. he tries the first time, as a nudge. the second is a more intentional, powered kick.

he needed to stand, and he needed to get back, quick. he can hardly lift his arms up anymore, fibers of muscle too torn to function the way they should, and only raising clouds of hot steam. ]

[The dragon grunted as the titan's foot kicked into her gut, stumbling back a step.

She didn't charge right back in, though, tossing her head and straightening up. The clouds of steam caught her eye immediately, the torn flesh beneath, and she tossed her head to shake out her spines. Amelia didn't raise her claws immediately again either, growling a low concerned note instead of garbling words.
