WHAT: Akira is coping pretty badly, but he's around the city doing sometimes nothing at any time in the day or night. Morrigan, his cat, is also out and about and people can pick him up and call his number for him to show up. Also putting my other toplevels in here. so it's kind of like a catchall.
WARNINGS: Mentions of death?! Some Persona 5 spoilers, might as well.

[ Of course he lost some time on the weekend to answer some questions from the police for their investigation, then also check up on Minato just to make sure, but he has been wandering around the city after classes and avoiding whatever calls or texts he gets for hours. This goes on for days. Not even home brings him the peace he's looking for, so he only visits to do some quick necessities and have a quick bite purposely when his roommates are asleep or gone.

Otherwise, he can be found lingering around:

1. sitting on the bench at the park, feeding the pigeons or just staring up at the sky
2. around pizza port
3. by the subway station
4. by the high school
5. in alleys
6. by a haunted building
7. wherever else your character hangs

In the early morning, the middle of the day, or even at night. Sometimes he's rollerblading, but at all times wherever, whenever, his eyes are downcast. Fortunately, he's smart enough to check traffic lights.

There are too many things haunting his mind, replaying over and over... He thought he could handle this since he settled with Ryoji's death easier and faster, but nothing can wipe the imagery of the blood on the floor and the scattered chip bags in the background, the dull sound of the sirens, and the cry for help.

If you catch him on the street, you may witness him fall flat on his face. Miraculously, his glasses fly out of harm's way, but he doesn't budge from the floor and merely splays there like a corpse. It's fine. ]

cat looking for human son!!

[ Morrigan is known for some pretty shady things, but he has a different agenda today. This slick tuxedo cat is skulking Recolle looking for his owner. Akira has been gone far too long in February already, so his random disappearances will not be tolerated.

He can be found investigating Akira's usual spots like the cat cafe and the park, but he will visit the movie theaters and the houses of friends. Unfortunately, whoever brings him home with them thinking they can keep him there will be disappointed. Morrigan has NO PLANS to stay anywhere until Akira is found. This little cat burglar will protest with a lot of meowing and escape somehow, but you can probably catch him again not too far from your place. It won't stop him from trying to leave, though.

However, his collar does divulge his name, an address, and the number to call if found. ]

velvet blues (locked to persona protags and elizabeth)

[ Quite often he can be found in the Velvet Room at random times of the day after classes, whether he's doing his homework or merely lying in his cell bed, staring up at the dark ceiling with a dazed look. Sometimes he's sleeping and other times he's sitting with his knees close to his chest, head in his hands to calm himself down. Thank god for all these Jack Frost dolls in his jail cell.

And everywhere else in the Velvet Room. ]

Yeah, it was. [ And he speaks louder for Elliot to hear them as they enter the living room, leaving their friend to make some quick food. ] I'm sure you'll enjoy it—

[ Ah. Look! It's Morrigan, who's ready to settle as they enjoy their game, but he's also accompanied by... What is that? Akira squints.

[ Looking Akira dead in the eye. ]

Morrigan missed you. He seemed to calm down when the pillow was around.

[ He doesn't break this stare, either. This is a meaningful contest of eye contact now. ]

Did it have to be a full body pillow?

[ Morrigan is resting on where Akira's lap would be on the pillow, so it seems... So. ]

[ This is the ultimate stare down, of ultimate destiny. ]

Yes. When it was just a face, he kept yeowling because he knew it wasn't you.

[ Look further, Akira. Beyond the big pillow... ]

... He's too smart for his own good.

[ Akira lugs Yusuke with him and sits next to the body pillow. Huh. Is this how Yosuke felt when he received his gift? This is kind of weird, but it's not like Yosuke got one of himself.

Clicking his tongue, he gently asks Morrigan to turn on their gaming console and the cat complies, though grumpily, then returns. With a couple of clicks, the TV is on and linking to the correct source. That Playstation screen and jingle is pleasant. ]

Do I actually look like this?

[ Just wondering. It's a lot more attractive than he imagined himself. ]

[ Yusuke lets himself be dragged along, and flops down next Akira and his new twin. Watching Morrigan do the thing is still a little bewildering... this is a cat with no opposable thumbs. Terrifying. ]

It is a fairly accurate rendition.

[ He's twisting sideways to frame Akira with his fingers. ]

[Okay either this interaction took awhile or being a mage means you can do speed cooking- either way, Elliot's coming into the living room very carefully carrying a serving bowl of Mac-n-cheese, three bowls stacked together with some utensils-- and a six-pack of soda in his other hand. It looks delicious!!

Annnnd he's also coming back to find Yusuke and Akira cuddled on the couch while Yusuke calls Akira a handsome man. Elliot doesn't even notice the pillow, he's grown used to the pillow.

[He's standing near the doorway, not sure if he's intruding on something]

That's... I can't argue with an artist.

[ You're embarrassing him, Yusuke. Even worse with Elliot comes in, but Akira doesn't feel any more shame already. He does perk up, eyes bright and nose wrinkling—it looks and smells deliciooouuuss. ]

[ Yusuke spins around, fingers still out and now framing Elliot instead. ]

Do you not agree, Elliot?

[ Oh. Oh there's food. He drops his hands. ]

That smells delicious, thank you.

[Okay they both seem glad for the food so, he must not be interrupting anything. Just Yusuke being Yusuke - the forever art nerd. He relaxes and walks into the room, setting the stuff on the coffee table in front of them so everyone can grab for themselves.

Elliot will then sit on the couch next to whoever has an open spot.]

Aha, it's nothing...

[And as for Yusuke's question]

You mean if Akira's handsome? Well, sure! I'd say so.

[ He. Doesn't want to talk about this!! Naturally, the easiest way to avoid it is focus on what they were here for originally.

The game.

He starts running Overcooked and the cute screen shows up. Passing the controllers to them, he'll munch in the big serve bowl of mac n' cheese like a heathen because he deserves this. Who cares about cooties?? ]

[ At least they're not waxing poetic about your hands, Akira.

Yusuke is a good boy, so he dishes up some mac n' cheese for Elliot and some for himself as well, but Akira seems determined to be a heathen. ]

I'm not sure I am ever ready for this game. It's cute, but quite difficult.

[Yusuke is a good boy. Elliot will thank him and take his bowl. He'll distribute sodas for each of them too, while Akira continues to be a heathen. ]

Eheh, I think so? Here's hoping I don't mess you guys up.

[ Hey. It's nice to eat out of a big bowl? Akira will stop so he can start the game for them. They get to pick their character which ranges from animals to actual people.

Of course Akira picks the black cat. ]

It's pretty easy, we can go through the tutorial.

Yes, that would be good. I don't really remember much about how to play it from before...

[ It's time to eat a bit though, while Elliot picks his character. Because... mac n' cheese is good. ]

[ We have given Overcooked the representation it deserves. They are now cat friend, fox friend, and bird friend. They start in a simple kitchen making burgers... The controls are pretty easy! You chop, you cook in the pans, you assemble on a plate, then you send it off. ]

What about we pick out roles? It'll keep us organized.

I can do the assembling and sending the food out. If that's alright for me to monopolise that role?

[ The chopchopchopchopchopchop part is fun, but there must be SOME aesthetic to the assembling even in this game... ]

And Akira, do you wanna do the chopping? You're pretty good with knives.

Yeah, sounds good. We can all start chopping first so we can get the ball rolling, then ease into our duties.

[ Time for us to chop chop!! Well, there are only two chopping boards, so one of them can ferry the ingredients over as they chop chop chop.

The orders are starting to come in.





One of the orders is just lettuce and tomato. ]

[ Oh. This seems... simple. Why was he so worried? ]

Okay, I will focus on the tomato for the moment.

[Elliot meanwhile doesn't trust it. It's the tutorial after all. But he goes into focus mode. Time for teamwork!!]

I'll grab the ingredients!

[And he starts doing that. Gonna pile on the lettuce and the tomatoes. ]

[ It's just. A salad. Elliot!!

So Akira and Yusuke are chopping ferociously to get things started, now they can split up to what they're supposed to do. Elliot ferrying meat onto the stoves, Yusuke assembling the ingredients on the plates and ferrying them to the belt. And Akira. Still chopping.

He may have chopped a lot of ingredients they take up literally most of the kitchen counter space in his area because he ran out. ]

Oh, yeah... We have a fire extinguisher. The most effective way to use it is to spin around.

[ Since he did his work, he'll demonstrate. His cat character picks it up and becomes a 360 sprinkler on the other side of the kitchen. ]

[ Akira is the true hero of this game. The master. The one with all the knowledge. ]

I suppose it makes sense to have a fire extinguisher in a kitchen. I assume we must keep an eye on things as they cook? Lest they catch fire.

[Yes but he wants to be prepared for when things get tougher!! And wow Akira, what skill.]

Aha yeah, you should never leave cooking food unattended. [He says matter-of-factly. Sorry fire safety tips are just ingrained in his brain at this point.] You can't run out of extinguisher foam in this, can you?
