[Welcome to the Emporium, an arcade bar that Minako and Sakura have decided to host their joint birthday party at! Come on in and have some fun playing games, eating junk food, and just hanging out with the birthday girls (and guy, if he decides to come).

There are, of course, the numerous arcade games that the place is known for, ranging from the old school 2v2 fighters to the shooting gallery kinds. But there are a smattering of other games as well, like DDR, darts, mini hoops, skeeball, and the pool table, too. There's also a wall of crane games in the back, with plenty of random and mostly cute prizes to win.

Make a stop by the purikura booth if you have time. Make some duck lips at the camera and then take the snaps home! (Or give them to the birthday girls for the memories.)

Oh, and be sure to exchange your money for tokens before you play all these games. The token machine seems kind of finicky, though. Maybe a strong (and hopefully discrete?) kick will help jumpstart it.

Walk to the dining area, and there'll be a feast waiting you! The arcade is providing a ton of pizza and wings, as well as alcohol, if you can show your ID. For dessert, there's the cake that Shuji made for the girls, as well as Minako's lemon tea cakes. Those are limited supply, though, so snag one before everyone eats it up.

Next to the dining area, there's a big sign that says "DUNK TANK OUTSIDE". Maybe take a look? Just be reaaaally sure you want to climb in before you do it, though. The towels provided by the arcade are pretty small.

And finally, if you need a break from the chaos, there's a couple of couches on the second floor. Take a load off and watch from above.]

[Amazing. The fact that she's somewhat out of it relaxes him a little -- hard to be threateningly strict (as all women appeared to him, oops) when you're bumbling. Still so cheery, though... Oh well. He draws his legs up and wraps his arms around them so he has a nice stable platform to rest his chin on.]

Mm.

[Yep, sure is. Lalli doesn't know a ton about Minako, even after asking what sort of things she liked. He knows:
1. she likes the color red.
2. she likes bunnies!
3. she works hard and deserves some quality rest.

...He unfortunately does not know:
1. what he has done.]

[Oh.............Minako opens her mouth. Closes it again. Reaches into the bag to squish down the fabric. Yup, it's real.

Then she looks at him with wide eyes.]

[Oh. Oh dear. He isn't good at reading people, and he rarely gives gifts, but based of his interactions with Minako so far, this isn't...great. Even accounting for a slight shift because of alcohol. Was it the wrong size? Did she already get a bed set?]

...Yeah. Did I do something wrong?

No! No, not wrong, not at all. I'm happy that you got me a gift. Like really, really happy! It just surprised me.

[She remembers her promise to him, but she also is trying to be tactful?!]

Do...do you know what those bunny symbols mean?

[It's very sweet that she continues with tact when Lalli abandoned it on a firehouse doorstep in infancy.]

Mean? [They were just bunnies, right? He frowns and leans over to peak inside the garbage bag, as if expecting the pattern to have changed since he put it in there. Nope, same bunnies.] ...That you should... No. I have no idea.

[She will accept this answer and hope he doesn't get curious. Please don't ask what it means, Lalli. But in case he does...

[Why would she just abandon the subject like that...! Lalli's staring at the trashbag now, trying to puzzle it out, but Minako's followup questions doesn't help any. Bunnies...]

[Good, don't ask about bunnies and please do not look up what these bunnies are later, either.]

Hehe. Probably more than I should. But I'm trying to be better about it! I got a lot of plushies today, too, so it'll be like I'm sleeping on a cloud tonight~

[Oh good, she isn't offended by that. He's still confused about the diversion, but the tension in Lalli's shoulders eases.]

Hn. I wanted something useful, not just cute. [just gonna casually insult everyone else's gifts, oops?] It's really noisy in here...

[Minako lives the "practical but cute" life, so he chose well. Minus the design, of course.]

I won't keep you. Really, though, thank you so much for coming to see me, Lalli. I'm really happy you did.

[She'd ask for a hug but hmmm, no, still not a good time yet, probably. So she only pats his hand one in thanks.]

Yeah. Well... [He frowns down to his feet, fighting off the urge to fidget or worse, slap her hand as she goes to touch him.] You said you wanted that, so...

[Erm. Whatever. He's behaved and she's given him an out, so he should...take it...?]
