[Welcome to the Emporium, an arcade bar that Minako and Sakura have decided to host their joint birthday party at! Come on in and have some fun playing games, eating junk food, and just hanging out with the birthday girls (and guy, if he decides to come).

There are, of course, the numerous arcade games that the place is known for, ranging from the old school 2v2 fighters to the shooting gallery kinds. But there are a smattering of other games as well, like DDR, darts, mini hoops, skeeball, and the pool table, too. There's also a wall of crane games in the back, with plenty of random and mostly cute prizes to win.

Make a stop by the purikura booth if you have time. Make some duck lips at the camera and then take the snaps home! (Or give them to the birthday girls for the memories.)

Oh, and be sure to exchange your money for tokens before you play all these games. The token machine seems kind of finicky, though. Maybe a strong (and hopefully discrete?) kick will help jumpstart it.

Walk to the dining area, and there'll be a feast waiting you! The arcade is providing a ton of pizza and wings, as well as alcohol, if you can show your ID. For dessert, there's the cake that Shuji made for the girls, as well as Minako's lemon tea cakes. Those are limited supply, though, so snag one before everyone eats it up.

Next to the dining area, there's a big sign that says "DUNK TANK OUTSIDE". Maybe take a look? Just be reaaaally sure you want to climb in before you do it, though. The towels provided by the arcade are pretty small.

And finally, if you need a break from the chaos, there's a couple of couches on the second floor. Take a load off and watch from above.]

Shush. It's only crime if you get caught, so watch for me, will you? -May waved off his concern. So much for winning it legitimately... but more to the point, she still didn't want to get in trouble, so she had to be exceptionally careful... Difficult, given she was already buzzed from her drink.-

[While this is very 'I'll tell the teacher on you', Shuji's sure it'll be effective.]

Why you gotta make this harder on me, huh? -May groaned, her shoulders drooping.-

Because if you actually do it at her party and Sakura finds out later, it'll be worse.

It's not like she doesn't know I'm a thief... I mean, I've never said it directly, but she's not dumb, and I haven't been hiding it.

... But fine. -She put the tools away in her purse, sighing as she stood herself back up and helplessly flicked the joystick. Though she wasn't checking her strength, and sent the thing into a wobbling frenzy...-

[That joystick made a noble sacrifice. Shuji knows Sakura probably knows already, but he didn't want to say "if someone else finds out, you'll make Sakura look worse by association". That's too cruel.]

I can try if you want? I always have terrible luck with these things, so maybe I'll get all the failed attempts and it'll be more forgiving when you play it.

Mm... mmmmh... nnng... -May tapped her foot, thinking over the offer. More importantly, her pride was rearing its ugly head, as usual, and insisting she didn't need Shuji's help and that if he managed to win the prize, it would be a hollow victory at best, and she couldn't give Sakura a gift she didn't snatch herself!

But

That was pretty irrational, and after a moment, she let out a sigh.- Fine. Give it a whirl.

[Shuji gives it a whirl. With his own tokens, of course.

And, as predicted, he sucks at it. A dozen tries and he doesn't get anything.]

...Okay, I think I've sucked all of the bad luck out of this machine. Give it a shot again?

The old man used to say luck is for losers... -May sighed, slapping in a token and taking up the joystick once more, focusing on the delicate movements needed to perfectly position the catcher...-

[And because I love May and want her to be happy I'm going to say that May finally gets the stuffed animal she wants.]

-Bless him. With a squeal of joy, she turned about to snatch Shuji up into a victory hug... and probably wasn't checking her strength properly. His poor ribs...-

Oh, uh... Heh. Whoops. -Good way to get her back in the moment, though, as she gently set Shuji back down and turned back to the machine to claim the dolphin plush the machine's prize slot.-

[Shuji gets in a lungful of air to make sure he can. Good? He's good.]

-Maybe not a streak, but she did managed to grab the dolphin's matched pair. One blue, one pink, and they formed a heart when you put them together!-

I know, right? I'm not gonna give them to Sakura yet, but hey, if they just wind up in her room, who knows, right?
