[Welcome to the Emporium, an arcade bar that Minako and Sakura have decided to host their joint birthday party at! Come on in and have some fun playing games, eating junk food, and just hanging out with the birthday girls (and guy, if he decides to come).

There are, of course, the numerous arcade games that the place is known for, ranging from the old school 2v2 fighters to the shooting gallery kinds. But there are a smattering of other games as well, like DDR, darts, mini hoops, skeeball, and the pool table, too. There's also a wall of crane games in the back, with plenty of random and mostly cute prizes to win.

Make a stop by the purikura booth if you have time. Make some duck lips at the camera and then take the snaps home! (Or give them to the birthday girls for the memories.)

Oh, and be sure to exchange your money for tokens before you play all these games. The token machine seems kind of finicky, though. Maybe a strong (and hopefully discrete?) kick will help jumpstart it.

Walk to the dining area, and there'll be a feast waiting you! The arcade is providing a ton of pizza and wings, as well as alcohol, if you can show your ID. For dessert, there's the cake that Shuji made for the girls, as well as Minako's lemon tea cakes. Those are limited supply, though, so snag one before everyone eats it up.

Next to the dining area, there's a big sign that says "DUNK TANK OUTSIDE". Maybe take a look? Just be reaaaally sure you want to climb in before you do it, though. The towels provided by the arcade are pretty small.

And finally, if you need a break from the chaos, there's a couple of couches on the second floor. Take a load off and watch from above.]

There might well be! Either way, Elda's coming on over and grinning a little more to herself. She's mostly here for Minako, but she does know Sakura too and... well, here's May. ]

So, let's play a game, girl!

You got it! Did you wanna break, or should I? -May started gathering the balls back up, arranging them in the rack.-

Her. Yes. But okay, good, if the other girl will be setting it up, she'll go and get herself into position, taking up her cue and making ready for the moment. She did used to play this more in college... and at fancy parties since. In a way, it's probably the game in his arcade she's played the most, now she considers it. ]

[me_matey]

Just remember, go easy on me. I wasn't even that good at this game before I had super strength. -May pulled the rack up, twirling it in her fingers before setting it aside and taking her cue up.-

[ Why would that matter....? Oh sure, strength is important but precision... Well, okay, no, maybe May might have gotten some reflexes like her too. So instead, she's going to go and...

-A pretty good break, all things considered. Nothing sank, but it set the field pretty evenly...-

[ Bah, she hoped she would sink one...

No prob! Now, let's see if I can avoid a scratch here... -May edges near the table, chalking up her cue and carefully laying it in her fingers as she strikes the cue ball. The layout wasn't ideal... but she managed to edge some solids closer to the pocket.-

[ . . Okay, she nods and that means her goal here is to not hit in any of those solids. A few are too close for comfort at that corner, so she'll shoot for... Yeah, this way.

... Yeah, it's been a while, she ends up not sinking one either - in fact it looked like it would go in, hit a corner, and bounced to be right on the edge there. ]

-A low whistle from May.- Tough luck, obaachan. Lemme see if I can get this goin... -May set herself into position, carefully picking her spot...

And popped two of hers in a single shot.- Lucky~!

[ Bah!

Clearly lucky. ... Or skilled? but mostly lucky. Probably. She grumbles a little, leaning against the table not really in bad sportsmanship so much as she can get competitive at things like this. ]

Eh, everyone gets lucky some of the time, huh? -Lying through her goddamn teeth.-

Yeah, that's true. [ Is it her shot this time? Still, lucky, huh. Eeeesh. ]

-May did lean in for another shot, but that 'luck' seemed to drop off slightly. No running the table for her, it seemed. At least for the moment...-

Ah, at least I didn't scratch... that was a little close.

-Scrrrratch. Into the pocket the cueball went, as if triggered by May's sudden shift in expression.-

This is just a test run for Club Sunshine, I ain't here to impress someone specific.

Well where else am I supposed to test run it?

Obaachan, that completely defeats the purpose of a TEST run.

[ But yeah, sure, whatever. She shrugs, not entirely sure she buys that. But all the same she's going to go and collect the cue ball ]

I'm not sure gorgeous is a glove that fits. I was kind of just aiming for "cute", but like an adult kind of cute.

But ah well, time to line up her shot. She doesn't comment more - though May can continue to hang herself if she wants - but Elda knows she could do cute well. She, personally, is 5' and used to be thin with some muscles (maybe 115ish pounds) but now she's just... super thin (less than 90) and waifish due to that regain earlier this month. She always prefers to try to look elegant over cute. But May... well, that's her bag.
