[ Her ability to teleport is a very recent development.
...Coming, naturally, after the month where it would have been the most useful. This is becoming a trend. Not that it would have mattered very much, seeing as—through a little, ah, testing—she can't teleport outside of the city quite yet...
Practicing this is a very important thing though—and she is at least taking some manner of care in who sees her doing it. Mostly because summoning a magic circle from her grimoire is a little strange and alarming, and suddenly stepping out from one is also... strange and alarming. Not that all ever goes as planned: given her newness at this, and how it isn't exactly as intuitive as handling Personas are, she's bound to make a few mistakes. Whether that's suddenly dropping into a fountain, getting stuck on a roof, or interrupting some study time by appearing out of almost nothing... just to name a few interesting situations.
Really, feel free to be anywhere, anytime for this; I'll write to match. ]
i. this girl is on fire
[ The other thing she's found her book can do is... summon a new Persona. Surt isn't one she's actually very familiar with, so there's two options here:
Catch her studying Norse mythology in the library, with her grimoire opened to Surt's page. It's important to note that Surt and Surtr don't look alike... at all......
OR
Catch her... at the beach, experimentally summoning him from her book and studying it for a moment before... lighting herself on fire.
........she's fine, this is more alarming than it actually looks. Surt absorbs fire. It's cool. Don't even worry about it. ]
ii. ghost adventures
[ One last and final thing she's gotten back recently: a sense for the spiritual. She can be found snooping around the forest, the shrine, and spots that boast some sort of haunted legacy as a result, like graveyards, abandoned places, Leviathan's Claw since she keeps buying "possessed items" from it... At pretty much any time of the day.
Particularly at night though (accompanied by Jack Frost), since spooks are supposed to be out and about then. The fact she doesn't really need sleep anymore is great for ghost-hunting. ...The fact the city is latently full of ghosts does not, but at least it's always fun to point it out to people.
Additionally, there's a post for PC-related spiritual things here; if you wouldn't mind filling it out if you think it might apply to you, it'd be much appreciated. ]

[ Nothing catching your interest/we already have plans/you want her in the Velvet Room/maybe at work at Sweet Stems/whatever? Go ahead and throw me anything, I'll roll with it! You can also catch me over on plurk atflaired, or on Discord at Bella#4429; I'm quicker to reply to pings though, as a heads up. ]

It hasn't happened yet. [ SO SURELY IT NEVER WILL— Elizabeth holds out her hand, not feeling too bad; it's been a little rest, if she rests longer after this next jump she'll feel better in no time... ] Shall we? Wherever your heart desires... or an approximation of it.
no subject
[No hesitation when she takes Elizabeth's hand, but it does that a moment for her to come up with a location.]
Well, there is this bakery... [She's been practically all afternoon, a little break would be nice! So she'll give the name of it
because I can't remember to save my life]Would that be okay?
no subject
It would be. [ a few moments, finding the page... and a magic circle appears in front of them. ] ...Please stay calm. If you feel a little uneasy after we arrive, feel free to take a seat.
[ and that's about all the warning she'll give Sakura before she steps through with her; it's a lot of swirling blue they're... flying? through?? that feels like it goes on for a while, but they land
on top of a dumpster in the alley beside the bakery, if the smell is anything to go by. Elizabeth winces when she slides off the top, feeling slightly woozy as the magic circle disappears. Ah... ]
...Are you alright?
no subject
until that dumpster part MMMMM]
Y-yes... [At least they didn't seem to crash through the dumpster. Her vision spins during her descent to the ground, a hand gripping the high edge of the dumpster for balance]
Did we make it...?
no subject
Ah! ] Yes, I believe so. Well, I suppose it's better to land here rather than on someone's table or the counter or something inside...
no subject
[Her dizziness is forgotten in light of their success, Sakura's hands clapping together in glee.]
It really worked... how amazing.
[And convenient, too. To think there are spells that just casually allow a person to teleport at will. Sakura gives the book an appreciative glance before smoothing herself back into a less flustered state]
Do you have any other spells in your book?
no subject
Not of this kind, no. There's summoning, of course—like with Thanatos and Jack Frost, though I've recently found I've added a third to that number—but otherwise, teleportation is the only other thing... so far.
[ One day she'll be able to fuse things. One day. Maybe. ]
I won't discount the possibility that I simply haven't leveled up enough to unlock all of its secrets, of course.
no subject
It's like that with my ... powers? As well? Every couple of weeks, I pick up something I'd never known.
no subject
If you wouldn't mind demonstrating, I would love to see them... assuming you can, at the very least. Hearing about them would work just as well too, in lieu of that.
no subject
[And for the rest, she leaves it unanswered, allowing Elizabeth to assume whatever pleases her]
I'd need a plant, though. Or a glass of water.
[The latter which can be acquired at the bakery, lucky them]
no subject
...after all, there has to be a reason Goro hasn't mentioned the second Persona residing within him. She taps her cheek and pulls Sakura into the bakery then, swinging her hand. ]
One of those is easier to acquire than the other... Let's simply get some when we get a bite to eat, shall we? I typically order water at places such as this anyway.
[ the tea is never to her liking and she doesn't drink coffee. she's only a little snobbish. ]
no subject
Okay!
[She'll perk up once they're in the bakery proper, placing her order by the counter (CHEESECAKE), and the girls will be handed glasses to fill at the soda machine.]
I'm afraid it won't be too impressive since I don't have much control...
no subject
I hardly have any control over my teleportation, you know, and yet you're quite impressed... I'm certain it'll be the same for me.
[ also, because she really likes magic. she's usually a spellcaster in mmos. #thatrangedpslife ]
no subject
Though once they're both loaded with drinks and their orders, Sakura will lead them to a relatively private booth in a corner, away from most other customers. She slides onto the cushion, glass of water placed directly in front of her.]
Okay! Let's see if it'll work today...
[With the pads of her fingertips pressed against the cup, Sakura squints her eyes like she's reading tea leaves, breathing slow... and the universe is on her side today. The water moves in a very deliberate fashion, cycling into a cuttle little whirlpool]
no subject
That's wonderful... With enough practice, could you do the same with something larger? Perhaps a pool or something... Then one wouldn't need to go to one of those hotels to experience their whirlpool pools.
no subject
I hope so! Right now I don't have enough memories to recall, but wouldn't that be neat?
[Just casually moving ENTIRE POOLS... Though uh:]
This probably means I have no excuse not knowing how to swim.
no subject
Likely not... or perhaps it means you have more reason. Theoretically, you might be able to simply use magic to make the water keep you afloat, as well as move you... but I feel as though that would be more effort and energy than simply swimming.
no subject
[Expression making it obvious she's going to try that as soon as possible -- and probably fail, which is concerning when she and water mix like oils.]
Maybe it'd help with my control of plants? Since they're made of water, too.
no subject
Perhaps, though... By that logic, you'd be able to control humans too to an extent, wouldn't you? Blood is made of a fair bit of liquid.
[ i'm sorry this got really dark ]
no subject
Well. She's not wrong about that.]
Oh no, I could never. [Said very seriously. Her eyes fall to the glass of water, still filled to the top.] I mean -- I never tried, but that'd require so much energy besides.
no subject
I could never either. [ Magic limitations aside, she doesn't have the heart for it. She's pretty sure the her in her memories couldn't... well, no, maybe... ] My apologies for bringing it up. It was simply something I considered without thinking too hard.
no subject
[Her shoulders lift into a shrug, almost apologetic as well]
It'd been irresponsible to pretend that's not a possibility, yes?
And I'm so bad at controlling my magecraft, too...
no subject
no subject
But she doesn't want to think of it, doesn't want to admit that truth. When Elizabeth offers her hand, Sakura is all too willing to take it, immersing herself in her friend's confidence.]
Well, if you believe in me... it must be true.
no subject
Of course. [ Elizabeth has surrounded herself with people who are good—inherently so. It's harder to see in some of them (Minato, Mizuki, Dave—at least according to Elda), but they are kind people. It doesn't matter what their past might say (Goro); what matters to her is the now.
And Sakura Tohsaka has been a wonderful young woman to know, to cherish. She's been very kind and very sweet, and the fact she's worried about that sort of thing proves that. It's what she believes for Elda, too. ] If ever you need the reminder, Sakura, I'll give it to you. I'll tell you it as many times as you require.
