WARNINGS:guns, i guess? also probably swearing but...
Today is the first day for the Dreadful Women's Adventure Club. If you're attending this event, you've gotten a personal invite from Elizabeth or found a flyer around the city. This is open to women over the age of 20 to join in! Each month, the location will change... this month the "adventure" will be a small private gathering at the Deadeye Shooting Range.
There will be a plethora of open space available in the indoor shooting range which focuses primarily on smaller pistols and automatic guns. There are mobile targets in the form of these guys and stationary targets for distance shooting.
Outside the building in the back is a large expanse of land for rifles. You'll be able to rent equipment here as well.
The main take away is there is a trained instructor offering help on handling your weapon! Maybe you're not so good at aiming? There's an incentive prize for having the highest score on the range — a trophy and $100 gift card to A Good Bean.
In the back there's a small gathering of food and drink available. This is for socializing further. White wine, red wine, and juice is an option for our members under 21. There will be no drunk girls with guns though, this is strictly casual. One important thing to note is that the TV on the screen is focusing on recaps of the Founder's Day situation — will you relive your horror of being tangled up in thread or see those bright yellow giant birds?
